Brake Fluid leak...what to replace?
By cali,
had a quick question...i just bought a '87 starion and the brakes were out...after an inspection today i found that that the master brake cylinder is leaking from where it connects to the brake booster....what exactly is it that i have to fix/replace to fix this leak? is it a seal in between or do i have to replace either one of the parts? the black paint from the brake booster is completely gone underneath this connection which is another give away.
Inexpensive dash mounted 3 stage boost controller.
By FlattopMike,
Shift1313 suggested that the "extra" vacuum solenoids could be used along with a 15lb pressure switch and a dash mounted switch to create an inexpensive boost control set-up. (about $40) It sounded reasonable so I took it one further and incorporated my existing mbc to create a 3 stage control. I haven't done it yet and I do have my reservations about how well it will perform but I think the theory is sound so I drew it up. I can't post my drawing anywhere while I am at work. Can someone PM
my SQ vs. 03' Mustang GT with underdrives, etc.
By Nick7,
I was just driving down the road when I seen my step-brother in his mustang gt. hes got underdrive pulleys intake and exhaust with gears. So rolled up beside him. he had a smile on his face. LMAO what a surprise he got... we both downshifted into 2nd and floored it. I pulled him a car in second and hit third and started walking off 3 cars. It was just about to hit its sweet spot when he let out the gas... I was about to start dragin' his as* for real.. Oh well... SHortly after that I busted a do
