  2. Hey everyone, someone broke into my car and stole my radio last week, breaking these things in the process. I attached a pic to show exactly what i need.. The red is the plastic bezel i need, and the green are the side rugs; i need both sides.. If anyone has these in good condition, please let me
  3. Hey, Unfortunately when they moved my topic from the BS forum to Virtual Mechanic people kinda stopped paying attention to it. I'm just talking to myself in there. Was wondering if isolating a couple problems and asking about those would get me where I need to be to get the dash back in my car. My radio was working for a while and somewhere along the way it stopped working. I have an aftermarket radio and harness that I spliced in myself. Seems strange that it would work for a while and then stop altogether. My ground is good as is the +12v switched. However, the yellow wire (memory, spliced into something else in the OEM harness) has very little to no voltage and certainly nowhere near 12 when the key is on. The other issue I'm having is with the driver's side door lamp. The passenger's side one works just fine and I have a good bulb to test the driver's side. When the bulb is in place and the door is open, I have +12v and continuity across the bulb but no lighting of the bulb. This exactly mimics how the passenger's side works, except that the light does light up. Lastly, what relay is for the fog lights? Does someone still sell these? Was checking to see what the issue with my fogs was and there was no relay! Thanks.
  4. I got my first car a 88 chrysler conquest and im the third owner but some where along to was the guy just ripped out the tape deck and put an after market one in then ripped that out and theres just the speaker wires and a cluster on wires and i was wondering if anyone had a diaogram or something to hook up a addapter so i can put an aftermarket deck in there
  5. Is there somewhere I can get a new digital HVAC control head? The metal flake is wearing off. Also on the steering wheel radio controls.... --or-- Does anybody know what the process is called to paste metal? I recall seeing on tv once a process for crafts where they took paper thin sheets of metal and used a paste to adhere it to something. I had a buddy in high school that was a jeweler and also remember seeing him do something like that. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I wanted to post this in the restoration section but i guess my postings are too low in number. http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo141/koulbreeze/IMG_20111129_100319.jpg http://i370.photobucket.com/albums/oo141/koulbreeze/IMG_20111129_100310.jpg
