well, I got this cheap conquest and all these turbo's laying around and a little bit of extra time. Really just want to see which is my favorite for the street. I first made this old car run good. love boost the way it was made to.... with a good (95psi max) fuel pump. 89 ecu wastegate held shut as long as possible This is what i ended up with and seemed to max out around 14 psi boost. http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/jaybirdskate/hp1_zps6ae83f19.jpg Then I honed out a compressor housing for this 14b oil cooled only td05. its the black one in the box http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/jaybirdskate/06h10_zpscff92ff9.jpg now in housing working great. http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/jaybirdskate/14b1_zps1c83c8b1.jpg on the car....and I upgraded the pipes a bit for the 1g bypass valve and went to a 1g mass (not in pic) I absolutely loved this setup for a daily driver this is the turbo set up mitsubishi should have made them, in my opinion. http://i778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/jaybirdskate/recirc_zps06c0c957.jpg Next I wanted to go big. so i installed my t4 turbonetics its split on the hot side so it boosts a little faster than one this same size and not divided.
