  3. Over the past few years I've reconfigured quite a few items on my car and now have some extra items I no longer need........ Intake manifold was run on the car for 2 years with me in addition to the 2 prior owners of the car. The manifold was originally built by quest925 ( http://www.starquest...topic=58298&hl= ). It has had some modifications along the way. Firstly at some point the throttle body was welded to the manifold. Secondly a the rear coolant port was opened up in order to flow to the heater core. The original paint had gotten pretty bad from heat/chemicals so I cleaned the majority of it off. Other bits: throttle body is a 65mm BBK for a 86-93 5.0L mustang, works with stock throttle cable, uses an inline thermostat housing (not in photos but will supply with intake). Manifold made good power and was very streetable. I would recommend the throttle body be cut off and a different TB put on. Parts that have been sold: -fuel pump -flywheel & clutch -passenger door window -driver door window -turbo & intercooler -rear hatch carpet -PS reservoir -oil cooler -ship wheels -driver's window switch -rear caliper brackets -front sway bar brackets All other parts are still available and are make offer. You pay shipping and PayPal fees Body is in great shape other than the driver front fender. All glass is great except windshield. Mechanical: Has brand new kyb struts front and mookeh rear with adjustable ride height strut sleeves. LSD rear, 5-speed trans, stage 3 clutch, lightened flywheel. Motor had less than 20,000 on it, but would need to be gone through at least to replace gaskets and seals. Brand new walbro fuel pump. Custom full 3" exhaust with no cats and a 4.5" rice can muffler. You would have to make it adapt to your stock or an aftermarket downpipe because the way the person built it. Interior: Dash is no good, headliner is solid, but burned the cloth off. Rear seats are salvageable if you can get the melted plastic off. Rear panels are all perfect. Has the rear wiper fluid reservoir in perfect shape. Power windows and locks work. Hell even the stock alarm worked until the fire happened. Lol Can't really think of anything else. The time has sadly come for me to sell my beloved Starion. I have had this car for 4 years and have done a ton of work on it. Last year I took a job that works me 50+ hours a week. I was also recently in a really bad car accident which has disabled my left shoulder due to damage and surgery. Between those two, I am unable to finish my project. Right now it is not running because I pulled out all the stock engine wiring harness so I could convert it to EDIS4 with MegaSquirt. I also removed the intake manifold as I was about to build a new one for MPI. The engine does run perfect after the rebuild. The rebuilt engine only has 500 miles on it. Car will need to be towed away! Right now it is parked in my shop on wheel dollies for easy movement. Please read all the notes below. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I re-foamed the passenger seat and installed 14 vibrating massage motors. There is a button on the middle console you press to turn on the motors for a full body massage! Truly one of a kind!! Exterior: Silver w/ black hood, 6/10, has small dings here and there and no air dam. Passenger fender is a little rough towards front, comes with new fender that is white. Exterior will need a little help.

  13. I have a Syclone/Typhoon 17c turbo in good looking shape that is just sitting around that I am not going to need. It has maybe 1/16th" shaft play, side-to-side. No cracks in the exhaust housing. I've never used it and figure someone else may want it for a dang good deal. I don't believe it needs a rebuild, but with that being said I do rebuild every single turbo I buy used if I intend on using it. (I have not rebuilt this one as I only bought it with only the slightest intentions of maybe using it.) It does not bolt directly up to a stock manifold, as it is a T3/T4. You'd need an adapter or aftermarket manifold. I've provided links to my feedback threads. I'm asking $350 shipped. I have plenty of pics of it but this dang thing keeps telling me that they're too big to upload, so I can text them to you if you like. I Currently own 4 Starion/conquest car's I've been recommended to join this site by several people since i've been told i've been throwing such a great deal I'm only wanting $4,300 For all my car's Wheels I've heard go for $400 a set All the rear ends are good in all the car's I have 2 Bumpers-Lips White/Yellow, They go for 300 on ebay each uncracked.   18. Alright, so i have a 1989 chrysler conquest tsi. i hear that you should be boosting 7psi until around 4k rpm. And then 10psi after that. Mine does the exact opposite. so i get 10psi at lower rpms but then it drops to 7psi after 4k. My idle is high also around 1500. sometimes it idles around 1000 but usually 1500. Any help would be greatly appreciated. is there a way to make it just run 10psi all the time? Im not sure how the wastegate works on this car, any other car i would have just installed a boost controller and been done with it. But I am wondering also how the car goes about a 2 step boost setup. thanks!
  19. starting to part out.90,000mile 1987 g54b has low oil pressure . knocks/rattles on drives side a little..needs rebuilt . available is stock ecu,power steering pump,heat shields. have all stock hard and soft pipes,catalyst converter,alternator,turbo , exhast maniold,intake manifold,2 intercoolers,oilcooler,oil lines power steering lines, good 5spd transmission. will be tearing down motor here soon .   20. Hi, I am selling my 1986 Starion ESI-R. Silver exterior, black inside. I live in Buford, GA. The cars has 61,400 miles. I drive it on a daily basis and its a great daily driver. I have made some upgrades to improve its reliability. Here is the list. Megasquirt 3 Walbro pump Full 2.5 exhaust including downpipe Engine is bone stock. Still set at factory boost. Not interested in drag racing. Brand New wheels w/ used tires. Brand new Cosmo Racing coilovers. Brand new brakes all 4 corners. Centric rotors and pads. Inerior is in mint condition except for slight wear on drivers seat. Cold A/C! Paint is not perfect. Consider its age but 61k. Im the second owner of this rare gem. IT WOULDNT LET ME POST THIS IN THE FAQS AND HOW TO SECTION SO IM POSTING HERE LOOKING FOR HELP I have some 92mm je forged pistons i am trying to sell and have a potential buyer set up... they buyer wants to know specs on compression ratio, but i know nothing about them other than brand and bore size( got them with a parts car and dont have nothing to use them in), only two markings on them are 92m and je, is there any way to determine the compression ratio on them without having them installed in a engine? they potential buyer says je charges 75 dollars to identify pistons and i am hoping to get them figured out to make this sell, any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

So I had a bad 12a turbo it was seized when I got it I put a rebuild in it (new bearings, seals etc.) I have a 1g bov hooked up to it and a cheap Manuel boost controller along with aftermarket gauge I was running 11psi of boost it worked and ran fantastic pulled hard was doing great then last night (3 days after I rebuilt it) I was racing around and did a burnout I saw my gauge during the burnout it was 9psi then got down to the next stop sign and then started going and my car wouldn't boost it got to -1psi and made a weird deep turbo noise and was like "wowowow" like a howling woosh I thought great I just fried my turbo I drive it home easy and tore into my turbo got the insides out it looked fine the turbine spins free sounds fine feels fine and has a tiny bit of side to side play but it was like that when I rebuilt it to I checked my intake and exhaust housing they looked fine I put it back together took it down the road and it did the same thing I'm lost now what do I do?!!!!
