  1. O.K guys, I'm going to be offering up Conquest and Starion replacement Taillight Gasket Kits. I've had these fabricated for us and I have many sets available (probably enough for all cars on the road ) I initally was going to handmake these and after 2 sets, it proved to be time consuming...and they looked liked poop (even though you won't see them). These new gaskets, are using my "slightly" better than original design (a tad wider and thicker than the OEM ones) these will be made using 3/8" high quality neoprene 'closed cell foam material', and professionally cut to shape. The product being used, looks like this: http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/640_11379_zps0cf5ba9c.jpg Here is a pic of my "prototype" that I created myself... up against one that resembles most if not all of the OEM gaskets, letting water in and turning our tails brown. The new ones definitely look a lot better, more professional and a better overall fit! http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC02942.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/4939f656-8d55-4994-92fc-fcc2fa4e7faf_zps6cb02f50.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/DSC03883_zps3588e0d2.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/DSC03884_zpsd1ff096e.jpg ...and they've already approved my file layout and design, everything is a go...except for the funds needed to get it rolling. That's where i need your help I've had a bunch of guys hitting me up about these for a few months now, so I figured it was time to pull the trigger on this. The total for these gasket kits will be $40 per pair shipped anywhere...and I mean anywhere, I know there are a few guys in Alaska/Hawaii, but I'll see that you pay the same shipping as everyone else so shipping will be included for this price. These arrived today!!!! My Paypal is: natallica@comcast.net Lemme know if you're interested. When using Paypal please provide "usernames and shipping address". It makes it easier to keep track of the orders. 1.gtxthunder paid 2.JohnnyWadd paid 3.BC_99 paid 4.BC_99 paid 5.BC_99 paid 6.BuGG paid 7.BuGG paid 8.aknorthstar paid 9.KIDMEN paid 10. shaggy_TSi paid
  2. Hey guys, I've tested the waters on these for a little while and they seem to be a hit... so I'm offering them up. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/NatallicaReproductionscopy_zps6db89dd3.jpg Conquest/Starion Window Switch Decals Turn this: http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/IMG_0685_zps13e0a181.jpg(I had already repainted the bezels) Into this: http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/IMG_0686_zps7d913f66.jpg These are small in size, but well worth touching up the worn out look that most of our cars have. In all sets there is a few extra decals including one for the "Auto down" owners out there. Price for one set (for both switches) is $20.00 shipped ... Now, that price includes USPS Priority Mail shipping (it's usually around $5-$6 per package, it averages out to about $7.00 per switch). I like to ship this way, it's efficient for me and you guys usually receive your items in about 2-3 days Paypal address is: natallica@comcast.net Thanks guys, hope you dig 'em -N8
  3. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/NatallicaReproductionscopy_zps5c13072c.jpg Hey guys, I made something at work for my cars, but there was a minimum so I had to purchase 6. I only have 4 of them, so I'm throwing them up here for sale (not sure if this should have been posted in "Parts for Sale"... but if there is interest, I'd be happy to bang out some more of these) These are made from 1/4" black "exterior grade" PVC. Then CNC Router cut to shape. I pathed out my original and it's exactly the same. I've also recreated the decal and added a laminate film/countour cut to shape and placed it in the original location. *However, you'll need to swap over your existing hardware to install this. I could not find anything like the OEM clips and Spring hook, but mine were still in good shape. All holes are pre-drilled (the spring hook side may require a slightly larger bit to open it up for your screws, but at least there's no guess work on the holes Here are a few pics: http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/DSC04086_zpsa64c0bb8.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/DSC04091_zps3a4eb5f6.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/a5aec5e9-d289-4ec2-bebb-2acdd15fc8d0_zpsd0f8eef0.jpg I can order more of these once these 4 are sold. However, If I decide to order more, the price would still be the same because there is a minimum I can order. And the shipping will have to be added to each one, because shipping costs will vary depending on location. Not as easy as USPS for my decals. These are on a 1st come/1st serve basis. 1st PM's and Paypal get 'em so act fast Price is $60 each plus shipping Paypal is gladly accepted (Paypal address is: natallica@comcast.net) , and I hope you guys dig these. I just got tired of the swelled/stained masonite leaving brown fibers in my trunk Thanks -N8
  4. Hey Guys, I know many of you are just like me, we want SQC Calendars yearly. In the past the 'photo submissions' have been the catalyst for getting these things rolling. And unfortunately last years fell flat on it's face. But Kudos to Tyler for at least trying. This year, I'm gonna be spearheading this GP, so I hope you all choose to submit some cool useable stuff. Price with shipping hasn't been determined just yet, however, I have a few feelers out there for quotes and I'm zeroing in on it. I'm posting this in hopes of members uploading some of their favorite shots of their ride, so here is a 'greatest hits' of what I'll be needing from you. The nicest pic (in your opinion) of your ride. Keep in mind, this is for other enthusiasts as well, so don't think just because it needs slight cosmetic repair, or you don't feel it's worthy of the possibility of being featured... SEND IT ANYWAY! I'll accept and consider any pic as long as the following criteria are met. High Resolution Photo (no cell pics please, unless it's nice phone with Hi-Res capabilities) Image Size has to be print ready (300+ dpi or greater at full size, 8.5x1, landscape orientation) Image should have nice composition (i.e background imagery, brick wall, skyline, old barn etc.) SQC Username has to be included with pics so we know who's ride it is, but please keep text off of the images, info can be PM'd or emailed to me regarding pics, I'll be adding text via Photoshop to keep the designs cohesive throughout the layout of the pages. A concise MOD list if applicable, just so we have an idea of what may have been modded and made your ride different from the rest. I need to narrow the submissions down to 12(+ the cover), so choose your best photo and please only submit one image so other guys may have a chance to get in the design. One ride per member will be chosen. I know several of us have a fleet of them, so choose wisely I've created a Dropbox account specifically for these photo submissions and the upload link is located below in red. The process is very easy, you'll just drag and drop the files onto the webpage and they will upload to a folder. That way pics are all in the same area and don't get lost within emails or PM's. Thanks guys, I trust you all will be stoked when these are ready and I encourage all of you to go out, clean your babies and scout some nice spots and snap some cool shots. We all dig these cars and it's cool to see them on a calendar for our garages, kitchens and work spaces. Upload link is located below, I'll make it huge so it can't be missed. Just wanted to let you know...IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN, even if the calendar is my car 12 times...well maybe not, but you get the point! TO UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS CLICK HERE Thanks Fellas, -N8
  5. SOLD!!! Hey Dudes, as some of you may know, I recently purchased the Quest I've been waiting for (1989 SHP Auto Fiji), so I am selling one that I was beggining to restore. This thread will be pic heavy but I want you to know exactly what you'd be getting, and I can't stand vague threads with no real info, so I'll let you know everything that I can. I purchased the car from a member on here who had intentions of doing a swap, he lost interest and was relocating for a few months so he sold it to me. I was going to put it all back together so I brought her home and parked it. The car came as a roller with a g54B block with an unusable head, and NO tranny so she's being offered up the same way. Here are the particulars: It's a 1989 Conquest TSI (Non SHP, no sunroof) Original Fiji Blue Car was automatic, so it has the LARGER TRANS TUNNEL, great for swappers! Car was purchased in Johnstown, PA, then relocated to Goldsboro NC (sometime in 2011 I believe) then I brought her back to PA in Jan 2013 approx 97k on the body Title was signed by previous owner, I never switched it over to my name rust free underneath, no frame rot, a few tiny cosmetic spots at rear wheels 87 black leather seats Nice door cards included they're currently in the rear seat Lots of odds and ends in a storage box, aftermarket piping etc. whatever the PO removed Dash is in good shape Un-cracked tail lights 6 Bolt axles OEM Exhaust OEM wheels in nice shape, typical clear coat spider-webbing. Here's the not so good, but not deal breakers that I can recall: No trans, I'll throw in the stock G54B short block if interested for no additional charge, came with the car, unsure of condition, wasn't installed when purchased. Clear Coat is flaky in a few spots, and usual door dings and such, nothing major typical rear side spoiler paint flakage Car needs a front bumper support, had bumper cover zip tied to the car (I guess for weight reduction, not sure) Air-dam is broken on one side, but may be fixable Armrest console has a crack above drivers side seat belt opening, but not unusable. I did replace the passenger side fender with a white one but I still have the Fiji one with the goober on the top. The only thing I removed off of her was the strut tower bar, sorry. I'm sure there are guys on here looking for something like this, and I can't keep all of them, I'll probably regret doing it eventually, but it may help someone on here build their dream ride so that to me, is worth it! I'm looking to get $800 firm for her the way she sits with all of the parts and everything included. Sorry, but I DO NOT wish to part any of this out, it comes as a package deal. And think of it this way... if you do plan a swap, then the BS of having to remove most of the OEM engine bay 'garbage' is already done saving you some time and aggravation And Fiji 'autos' aren't really simple to find, trust me I've been looking for years. Car currently resides at my father-in-laws in Hagerstown MD... anxiously awaiting someone to give her a loving home. Thanks guys, first with the cash takes her home. -N8 Here's the pics: http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/2012-12-16_14-34-01_95.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/DSC03211.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/DSC03212.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/DSC03213.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/DSC03215.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/DSC03216.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/DSC03217.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/DSC03218.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/DSC03219.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/2012-12-22_15-15-16_383.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/2012-12-22_15-15-02_870.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/2012-12-22_15-14-46_804.jpg
  6. Hey guys, decided to start a build thread for my new dream car project. I was lucky enough to stumble on a car that I wanted to buy a few years ago but didn't have the cash. Now that I have the means, I can't wait to tear into it. Virtually rust free ( a small bit of cancer in the rear fender wells) 89 Fiji shell with stock G54B and tons of stock parts History "Greatest Hits" Previously owned by "illjill". The motor and auto trans were pulled to do a 2JZ swap, moved away and abandoned/sold the project. "Ron Burgundy" bought the car, wanted to rebuild and reinstall the G54B but do a 5spd swap, and abandoned the project after buying a boatload of parts and selling the auto tranny and all accompanying parts. I'm currently trying to sell the superfluous parts to fund the restoration of the G54B with my G-Pop 16G and some Lowershores Braided lines, with a slightly modded Auto trans (complete rebuild with MikeMeyerhoff's Kevlar bands and I'd love to obtain a stage 1 valve body mod ). It will be the car I've always wanted! Pics and some stories will follow!!! Thanks for looking guys, hopefully I can keep this updated. Here's few pics from when "illjill" owned it: http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/Conquest_07.png http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/Conquest_08.png http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/autoxquest2.png http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/Conquest_02.png Here's a few pics from when "Ron Burgandy" owned it: http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/2012-12-16_14-34-01_95.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/2012-12-16_14-34-19_647.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/IMG_20101023_153128.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/IMAG0375.jpg
  7. Welp, ran into an awesome deal, so I went to the bank and exchanged my last 3 paychecks for lots of crispy $100's, I'm heading to Nashville, Tennessee in the morning to pick up an '89 SHP with sunroof, rebuilt bottom end and new head, everything ready to reinstall (gaskets hoses etc). Heatmiser's ride! Can't wait, on the lookout for White Castles and Big Red soda too , will post pics....here's a taste for now. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/1989%20Conquest%20TSi%20SHP/3G33Mb3Ha5I85K35H1d641dc54cf2db271e_zpsb3b84124.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/1989%20Conquest%20TSi%20SHP/GEDC1158_zps13f0c9e7.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/1989%20Conquest%20TSi%20SHP/engine1_zps3f2eade3.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/1989%20Fiji%20Blue%20Conquest%20TSi/1989%20Conquest%20TSi%20SHP/int_zps1c14ac36.jpg -N8
  8. Hey Harry, finally got around to makin' your decal. Figured I'd toss it up here so some of the fellas could see it. PM me your address and it's on it's way. Gloss black and brushed aluminum...looks awesome (sorry, Tracfone pics suck) http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/V8Starion1_zps9ca148d9.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/V8Starion2_zps826b82d0.jpg -N8
  9. Here ya go fellas, Fellow clubber Coke (Justin) asked me about these a while back, and I just got around to working on them. I'm not sure if these were only on Starions or not, but If you need 'em, or even if you just want 'em...here they are. These were initially found on the 2 rear triangular side glass windows. These decals are printed in reverse, because they adhere to the "inside" of the window. They may be a little harder to see behind aftermarket tint, so keep that on mind when purchasing. Here's what they look like (since the pic I've added a full white print behind for slightly better opacity. And these will not have a application mask on them...carefully peel and stick! $20 per set 'shipped' (it's a 3 color process printed on 'not so cheap clear enamel receptive film', plus I ship USPS priority and it's usually around $5-$7 and as always an extra goodie or 2 is included ) Paypal is: natallica@comcast.net ...and coming soon......the clear/gold drivers and passengers side window, 'Seat-belt Safety' decals! http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC03768_zpsb4e5c628.jpg Thanks guys -N8
  10. Hey guys, would anyone be interested in these? Most probably aren't but I know there are purists out there who these little imperfections bother them everytime they clean their windows I'll list this in the Vendors section if there's enough interest. I'm not 100% sure of the size so as of right now, they are 2" wide (if someone could measure theirs, that would be awesome). A while back Coke (Justin) sent me some pics of his deteriorated one and asked if I could make them.... well I just got around to setting up the file and I shot a few out. They are printed in reverse, because they'll adhere to the "inside" of the window. They may be a little harder to see behind aftermarket tint, so keep that on mind. Here's a pic of what I made. Lemme know the exact size and I offer them up, $20 per set 'shipped' price range (it's a 3 color process on not so cheap clear enamel receptive film, plus I ship USPS priority and it's usually around $5-$6) http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC03768_zpsb4e5c628.jpg ...and did Quests have these too, or just Starions? I thought my 87 Quest had them but I can't quite remember. Thanks guys -N8
  11. I've had this idea for a while and my father-in-law insists he can help me with it. It would be a 2 part offering (if all goes as planned) Just want to know if you guys may be interested in something like this. Switch service would entail sending me your switch(es) for this refirb (return shipping cost would be included in my price to do the switch, initial shipping to me would be the buyers responsibility): Custom circuit installed to allow a standard window switch to operate like the coveted 89 Auto Down switch! A simple respray coat of metallic black paint to make the switch plate appear new. New "Clear" decals installed in one of 2 colors OEM "Star Wars" Orange or White to replace the worn off the factory painted areas. I just want to get an idea whether or not this is worth pursuing. I already have a schematic worked up and just need to do final testing to be sure it works as intended. I was told that this couldn;t be done by other clubberz but I have to at least try it, there is a lot of people looking for this feature and the 89 switches are hard to come by, as we all know. Just chime in on this thread, and if there is enough interest I will seriously consider doing it . I'm guessing for the supplies, circuits, wiring, painting, decals and return shipping... it may be in the neighborhood of around $50 per switch but that has yet to be determined so it's not etched in stone. Lemme know what your thoughts are guys, and please be truthful whether or not you would seriously consider buying. I get a boatload of "I'm in" or "put me down for 2!" comments on my feelers but about 10% actually end up buying so if you're serious please let me know. Thanks guys! -N8
  12. SOLD!!!! I pulled this setup out of an 87 Starion a while back, and I have no use for it, seeing as I have an 88 Quest. I've already installed one of my steering overlay kits onto it, and I also cleaned all of the button internals with contact cleaner. I even polished the horn button so it's glossy as opposed to flat Also there are no broken pins on the rear of the button. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC02781.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC02780.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/DSC02782.jpg First $50.00 (+ $5 shipping USPS Priority Mail, and I ship fast!) takes it, make your steering wheel look like new again! Paypal is: natallica@comcast.net Thanks Guys. -N8
  13. SOLD!Hey Guys, I recently pulled this out of a roller that I picked up, and some of the usable parts I'll be revamping and putting them up for sale. I figured I'd list these few items as I get them completed. The front of this unit was pretty beat so I took several hours and removed all of the flakey buttons and what not, and replaced it all with one of my 87 HVAC overlay kits. This unit has NO BROKEN TABS and also comes with the matching control unit. http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/DSC02776.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/DSC02775.jpg http://i1234.photobucket.com/albums/ff408/n8tallica1/SQC%20Items/DSC02779.jpg I'm asking $50.00 for the whole unit and $5.00 shipping. I will ship USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery) Paypal Address is: natallica@comcast.net Thanks Guys -N8
