  3. http://www.racetep.com/starturbo.html http://www.racetep.com/carpics/T3T4starcoatedsm.jpg ATP turbo 3 inch waste gate. http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/Catalog%20Images/Wastegate/ATP-WGT-023_450.jpg mine is not external gated. well i go the T-46534 T3-T04B Super H wheel F-1 57 trim turbine internal gated T3 .82a/r 5 bolt turbine housing. Rated up tp 550 hp 3 inch exhaust from turbo back. that is a mouth full. the turbo is nice. it spools great, just nothing seems to happen untill i get to 3500, LAG City. once i get to 4500 it is a beast but i hit the rev limiter at 6K before i really get much out of it. i just dont like this setup for a daily driver. the .82 is just too big. my Car has a opened exhaust manifold with T3 adapter all ported. 52 mm T-body 2-1/4 intercooler pipes. 650 1050 injectors once on the boost it moves good. i just dont want to wait till next Tuesday to get boost. i have to rev the heck out of it to get it moving. other then that light throttle it is like naturally aspirated. i know the car is running good i just am used to the smaller turbos. car ran great with the 18G TD06.in stock casings. . put 100 miles on it so far and i cant wait to get a different turbo. i miss the 18G TD06 in the stock housings. I will be getting a different turbo Soon...
  4. if the car was tuned with a 50 trim turbo and then swapped out for different A/R turbine housings only what RPM would the car start to show boost for each different A/R. of course tuned properly for each A/R. all T3 turbine housings. .48 a/r vs .63 a/r vs .82 a/r (also note the center housing is bored for a stg1 wheel vs the stg3 wheels on the other housings) http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i123/mattgroshong/t360trimandhousingpics018.jpg
  5. i need to be schooled on the vacuum for the fuel pressure regulator. does it always have vacuum? when does it normally see vacuum? or only boost pressure? i unplugged the vacuum hose and the pressure didnt changer at all. i hooked the vac hose up to a different vacuum port and the pressure dropped to about 30 PSI. let the schooling begin! Thanks for the help.
  6. T-46534 compressor wheel size Super H Wheel Compressor 2.298 Inducer 3.00 Exducer TD06 18G 1.992 Inducer 2.680 Exducer Turbine: F1- 57 Trim 2.555 Inducer 2.244 Exducer TD06 2.562 Inducer 2.173 Exducer seems to be a fairly similar wheel compared to what I had before as far as turbines go. the difference is how tall or big from top to bottom the Turbonetics F1-57 trim wheel is. http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa44/jckrieger/Turbo%20Pics/PA300025.jpg

  8. I currently have a .82a/r turbine housing. I want to swap to a smaller .63 or a .49a/r. would I have to modify the downpipe just because the smaller AR? or the AR will not change the position or location of the downpipe. Thanks,
  9. http://www.hotrod.co...fore_were_cool/ News flash! As hot as turbos are today, they’re far from new. Guys have been screwing around with turbos at the drags since the early '60s with varying levels of success—though the most common level was zero. For that reason, many of the early experiments have been lost to history. Here, in no particular order, we present 10 of the coolest examples of successful turbo drag cars you probably never knew existed. Jerry and Gary Mallicoat’s '40 Willys Twin turbos drawing through twin Carter carbs and feeding a 327ci small-block Chevy made 720 hp and allowed the twin brothers to win the AA/GS class at the ’65 Winternationals and go on a national tour. At the end of 1965, the guys pulled the motor and turbos out of the car and gave them back to Ed Iskenderian. They went back to college, Jerry started writing for Car Craft, and they came back with a Barracuda flip-top Gasser that ran twin turbos, running tenths quicker than others of the era. It appeared on the Oct. ’71 cover of HOT ROD. In recent years, the Mallicoat brothers have run a Barracuda in AA/Gas Supercharged nostalgia-drags competition, and recently converted the car’s Hemi to twin turbos for Pro Street racing. http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af3/matthewbridges/1965%20Hot%20Rod%20Showcase/HRYR1965048.jpg

  12. rally racing starion. possible repost but cool video.
  13. is it worth it to use copper gasket spray? opinions? advice on using it? can it be used for the turbo to exhaust turbine gasket?
  14. I saw this and thought what a good idea. maybe we could get someone to make a few. I like the fact that you technically can get the shaft made to your likening link to where I found it: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=93050 http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/uploads/1257040916/gallery_13447_505_24704.jpg
  15. Well i got the turbo apart and am currently cleaning it up and getting it checked out at a local turbo shop. I got the waste gate assembly taken apart. and was not too surprised by what i saw. Check out the pictures. the flapper is huge, the little soot black circle is the hole in the turbine housing for the waste gate. Amazing how small it is. Sad thing is you cannot go much bigger because the wall will get too thin and possibly crack. if i port towards the silver shape cresent part it gets in to the exhaust flow and again too thin. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q299/I-W/Turbo/T4B-Super-H/null_zps2ce57a4e.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q299/I-W/Turbo/T4B-Super-H/null_zps01b0af9f.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q299/I-W/Turbo/T4B-Super-H/null_zps18b28d07.jpg
  16. http://www.squirrelp...#38;map_sel7=79 not sure what setting to input....
  17. I did not know what the specs are on it. The only 2 tags on it are: Turbonetics bar code and the other: T-46534 after calling turbonetics they stated it is a T3/T4B Super H 52 Lb/min 57 Trim .82 AR The Tech at turbonetics stated it is capeable of 500 HP. to me it is a small turbo. not as small as the stock turbo. not sure of the performance on this turbo. I hope it will be good for a daily driver. don't know much about plotting points on a map. maybe one of you guys can give me some info on how this will perform. http://www.turboneticsinc.com/sites/default/files/T04BS-3.gif
  18. Looking for a stock turbo Let me know what ya got.

NPT, Each $29.97 and if you want to keep it stock here is the secondary sensor. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-890018/overview/ Fan Control, Thermostatic, 200 Degrees On/185 Degrees Off, Sending Unit, 3/8 in. NPT, Each $29.97 just an option.
  20. well i got my D2's back from Britt AKA BC_99. welds are great. i had to get them powder coated. i just felt like going a different route. so i got them powdered like a candy blue. i think they came out great. they will mostly be hidden so the mismatch front n back will not matter. here are some pics. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q299/I-W/D2s/null_zpsa8694d8e.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q299/I-W/D2s/null_zps48743fa2.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q299/I-W/D2s/null_zps4015ac01.jpg

  22. Just wondering the benefits of this setup? also would this be a bad idea for a car that is drivern fairly often? NOW i am just talking aboput the aluminum tank and fuel lines and pump in the trunk. i believe this would be great for cornering. what other benefit or problem with doing this? http://images.craigslist.org/00J0J_lyHMr8j7bq4_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00J0J_lyHMr8j7bq4_600x450.jpg
