For sale, 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSi, all original, bone stock with 88K original miles. This car has got to be the cleanest all original Starquest I've ever seen. Everything works, A/C, Cruise control, power antenna, power belts, steering wheel controls, EVERYTHING. The car has tons of new parts, new Goodyear Eagle 1 tires, new vacuum advance, all new brakes, new plugs and wires, new control arms, tie rods, struts, etc. The glove box was full of receipts when I got the car, which will all be included with the sale. Also comes with the original owners manual and ORIGINAL sales receipt from the original purchase in 1987. I am not the original owner of the car, but I believe I'm the 3rd. The paint is in decent shape, and it looks like parts of the car were poorly repainted over the years, but it's still very glossy and looks decent. The front end was very chipped up so I put a couple coats of Red Plasti-Dip on it, and it looks pretty good. Also the mirrors, spoiler, and windshield cowl were very faded, so I also plastidipped those. If desired, the Plasti-Dip can be removed and the original faded/chipped areas will be revealed. The interior is in what I would consider near mint condition. The leather barely shows any wear at all, the steering wheel and shift knob are worn slightly, but everything else is nearly perfect. No missing/broken pieces, everything works as it should. The only addition to the interior is a 6 disc changer in the trunk, which has a controller mounted above the factory stereo. The car runs very well, and shifts well. It has a slight exhaust leak at the manifold, but quiets down when warmed up. Also the exhaust rattles under the car at certain RPMs. The factory turbo has little to no shaft play and spools very well. I'm going to ask $5500 OBO. I think the car is worth it. I will entertain reasonable offers. Only trades I'd be interested in would be classic American cars/trucks, or possibly the right VW bug. Mainly just need the cash. The car is located in the St. Louis, MO area. I can deliver either by driving or by trailer to a reasonable distance if I'm compensated for fuel and time. I searched, but could not find an answer. Will a 88 distributor work in a 87? My car is a 87 5sp widebody. The only engine mod is hard pipes with a bov.

So I have this black box next to my fuel injectors that has a vacuum line atached to it and then it has a large metal tube that goes behind the valve cover and ataches to the exhaust coming out of the turbo. What is this. Any advice would help. I cant post pictures right now but will try again in a bit.

i just bought my first and second conquest a few months ago. im new to conquests, hadnt even heard of them until getting offered this one. i bought it and i am interested in building it up. i am a newbie when it comes to cars in general so help me not make a fool of myself. the deal i got on my conquest was what i believe to be an outragously good deal. i paid $1200 for 2 conquests. 1 is in near perfect running condition from what i have been able to test. the only things i have found on it are an echaust leak and i think it needs a throttle body rebuild because it appears to have leaked fuel in the past hard to say if it is still leaking or if thats already been fixed. the interior is all great, all the electrical works. It doesnt have AC thats been disconnected but it doesnt bother me too much. the 2nd car is a parts car and isnt currently running. i havent played around with it at all but the previous owner said it would crank over but would not run smoothly. the parts car doesnt have the intercooler or the front bumper but pretty much has everything else. i really like my conquest, its all stock as far as i know. it came with all the papers of the maintenance done over the years which is pretty sweet as well. also it has basically perfect body which suprises me. i'll be throwing pics up soon let me know what you guys think\ thanks for letting me in on your community -mike
