  1. Found one on Amazon, posted it in the other vac advance thread
  2. Nice find. The wipers themselves are getting hard to come by too. I found an adapter on Amazon for using newer style blades.
  3. Looking for a climate control panel. In good condition. Thanks
  4. Amazon has it Standard Motor Products VC269 Vacuum Control https://a.co/d/6A8h4PN
  5. I forget the first guy that made them, but i was in that group buy and never got my hood, then i was poor while mookeeh was making them. I found out boosted diamonds made them after i already acquired an oem hood, but everything else I've gotten from Jan has been extremely good (scoop, vents, headlight covers). I wanted to see if he could mold and make my Godzilla Louvers in CF, but I got them shipped courier from Japan for a whopping total of 3g's brand new old stock. He's across the country from me, and I've had too many parts lost or damaged by shipping companies recently to risk it. Most recently USPS managed to damage a Starion taillight i bought that was in excellent condition.
  6. They weren't common when i bought mine in 99. Took a while to find one that wasn't in a junkyard.
  7. I looked for one since i got my car in 1999. Found one finally in 2015, I forget what I paid but i paid a premium at the time and drove 9 hours round trip.
  8. I used gear oil safe sealant for mine. Car sat for over a decade unused and when i finally got it moving it still held.
  9. I mean for those reservoir hoses it cost me maybe 20$
  10. I just use replacement hose from the dealer.
  11. Bought these and they were appropriately sized. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G3NTI32?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  12. Ok so my cad skills stink. I started off now attacking the vr4 calipers. I made a cardboard bracket for now and I'm passing that off to my friend who is a draftsman to make a 2d model. From there i can extrude it and make myself a 3d printed mock up. Should the mockup work out, I'll get it made in aluminum. If anyone else wants a set I'll find out how much it would be. After i have the vr4 calipers done, I'll continue to work on a ls430 caliper bracket.
  13. Thanks, I'll pick up some petg and reprint might be better for this application
  14. It was a mistake. I oriented it with the vacuum nipple up. I honestly have no idea how it printed successfully.

Sweet, only ever seen that thing as a drawing in the fsm
  16. I used PLA+ for the first print. I was surprised it came out flawless of my low quality printer. I used 20% infill and no supports. I have some PETG but haven't tried to print with it yet. I'm not sure if PLA+ will handle underhood temps in the airbox location or not. I don't think it gets too hot over there on a stock car. I'm using Fusion360. I find it difficult to place things where I want them. The last time I used any CAD software was in the middle 90's in middle school and I remember Autocad being easier to place things where I want. I do have a printer, it's a BIQU B1 SE Plus. Size and availability was a factor in the decision to purchase this printer. My main goal of this printer was to design a plastic mockup for the LS430 brake calipers and 3kgt vr4/300zx brake calipers. This MAF filter adapter was a quick thing to try to make something reasonably accurate.
  17. Thanks, It's the first thing I designed myself. No matter what, my screw holes ended up in the wrong spots, so I gave up on them
  18. One of my Starions I adapted a 1G DSM MAF, the 1G MAF doesn't fit in the Starion aircan and the 1G air can doesn't fit nicely into the Starion, so I made an STL for an adapter to use a standard cone filter. If anyone wants on you can download the STL from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5801293 I used a truck cone filter. I didn't model the holes for the bolts. Just dab some paint on the MAF nuts to locate them and drilled the holes myself.
  19. Their kits use Wilwood calipers if they ever delivered them, wish they did. Oscars kit used bmw rotors.l, I'm not sure which model
  20. I'm working on trying to get a low budget bbk that anyone can do just to spite them, working with either vr4/300zx calipers or lexus ls430 calipers. Just may take a bit of time to get it done. https://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/150267-anyone-know-if-rx7-calipers-are-the-same-as-vr4300zx/
  21. Don't bother. I paid them. They claim about a week for delivery. They said first for a few months my kit (rotors, bracket, etc) was ready except for calipers waiting on Wilwood. Then they called to say calipers came in and they were sending my rotors off to be machined. Called a month later and they told me that everything was ready except they were waiting on my calipers to arrive. Then when I mentioned they told me they had the rotors machined already and had to do it a second time I was wary. Then when they told me they had my calipers and don't anymore I was suspicious. For the next month they stopped returning emails and calls. I reached out to one of the owners on LinkedIn, no response. I filed a paypal dispute. They never responded after 15 days and I was refunded. Btw, they also knew i was expecting to order their unadvertised rear brake kit which was more than 2x as much as the front.
  22. If you are going through that trouble, just see if you can find a different diaphragm for the one you have. Or adapt on from another car
