  1. Art I'm in for a set. Let us know the rest of the details soon as you know. Bill
  2. Charlie That is what the recall says, I would think with that many miles you have got your monies worth. Call your dealer and tell them you want to schedule an appointment and give them the recall number. If they give you any problems keep track of the persons name and the reasons they gave you and callMitsu customer service at the number in the post and follow the rest of the directions. My belt holder came completely apart and there is nothing there but a piece of metal. Good luck and let us know if you decide to do this. Bill
  3. Mike With the chain tight on the crank gear you are still moving the cam gear one tooth in relation to the crank. Try this if you have a spare engine sitting where it is easy to get to. If I understand correctly the only way to fix this is move it one tooth at the crank. Bill
  4. Shelby You stated at the first of your post this problem could not be fixed by moving the cam gear then you say to fix it at the last of your post by moving the cam gear. this will still have it off. I will have to look at my spare engine and see if there is a simple solution. Bill
  5. Only if it is all still original and the engine hasn't been rebuilt. Bill
  6. VikingDJ The reason this works is when the hatch is out of alignment the electrical components do not make contact. When you adjust the hatch forward then the contacts come together. You might also check the plugs on the hatch struts. Good luck Bill
  7. My suggestion is to make it easier for the people who like to read through all the old threads on a topic. Sometimes there are 150 or more pages of replies and when you are trying to get to something in the middle, you have to click on page 3 then wait for it to load and then click on page 5 etc. Is it possible to write in the code a way to just type in the page number you want to go to? It would make it much faster to get back to where you left off your reading. Bill
  8. Ryddler I think you are doing a fine job of running the board. Some people just dont understand that you have a day job that you must do to pay the bills and do this in what little spare time you have. I'm sure you have other projects you would like to work on also. Do what you can when you can and dont apologize for slow improvements. To quote a famous saying "Rome wasn't built in a day." Good luck and keep up the good work. Just my two cents worth. Bill
