For the price I am paying to replace just about everything on my brakes I should have just done the big brake conversion, but I'm too far in right now to turn back. Just rotors and brake lines and I'm done in that department. Please keep us posted, I was looking on Precisions site and they claim to be able to supply any rotor, so maybe we'll luck out! Take care Shawn

We need a GP for brake rotors. I need 'em and I'm sure over 50% of the members are running around with on the limit or worse, undersized rotors. I don't even care for x-drilled or slotted, although that would be a great option. But.....I want cad plated. What do people think? I can start the digging around if the interest is there.....Oscar???? Take care Shawn

Steel Braid CLUTCH Line GP (OEM & Custom)
Shawn_Silva replied to Oscar_the_Grouch's topic in Group Purchase Info
So the custom option 2 fits in the factory bracket and is retained just like stock? It fits through the hole with no mods and sits tight with positive retention? I like the idea of the two piece line, I just want the factory fit and won't settle for anything less....I also want to make sure the lines have enough slack, as you know with braided you have to go a bit longer because it does not flex like rubber. Thanks for the info! Take care Shawn -

I want in Oscar. I love your GP's! I'm sleepy, need to read over the options....any pics? I'll make my decision tommorow if thats alright. Take care Shawn -
Wierd, I just clicked on it and it worked fine. Why don't you just start at http://www.partsamerica.com/ and then choose shop by brand, click on Beck Arnley and do the leg work.....? Take care Shawn

Yes alot of the parts are for the 4 bolt wheels. You must be sure of the part #'s before making your order. No one is responsible but you to make sure the #'s are what you require. No whining later. Finding all the #'s on the internet is not very difficult I have posted links before in this thread. Post what you want, period. I don't want another mismatched confusing GP going on here, do your homework, the prices reflect getting your hands dirty. Take care Shawn

150-170 MPH Top Speed + Fuel Efficiency 5th Gear
Shawn_Silva replied to Oscar_the_Grouch's topic in Group Purchase Info
I would highly recommend Jamie from http://www.housemanautosport.com/ if you people are seriously interested in fabricating a helical cut gear. This is not a simple process and requires exact machining, indexing and heat treating. Jamie has proven to me over the years his expertise in this area is unmatchable anywhere else in the world as far as I'm concerned. He is more than able to fabricate any gear including straightcut dog tooth. Take care Shawn -

The numbers appear incorrect in my catalog. Â Those calipers are for 4 bolt wheels. Check here for confirmation; http://www.partsamerica.com/SelectParts.as...archFor=Caliper Take care Shawn

Jeff, You need to look at the quantities they have listed, like for the lower control arm bushings. If I was to get the one set they had, you would not be able to get another set by the looks of it. They list the quantity they have beside the part. Thats not to say they don't have more by this time. Just heading out for dinner, will check those numbers for you when I return. Lets make this happen people! Take care Shawn

I can pay anytime via Paypal. I would recommend that you order everything and have it shipped to your own place of residence and then box and send out from there. I would think that is the only way the company will do so on the shipping anyhow. I have no problem paying for the packing/shipping from your residence. Keep me posted. Take care Shawn P.S. How often do they update their site? I would assume some items could be sold at anytime and that others could be added at any time as well....

I highly recommend if anyone is interested in a part # to ask here as to the descriptions are very vague and not always correct. I have the Raybestos and Beck Arnley catalog if anyone wants to be sure. Take care Shawn

They are jigged off of the original part and will follow all of the original design. It will be a direct replacement, fit like factory. They are still in production stages. Take care Shawn

Thoughts on the 4g63 engine in the quest
Shawn_Silva replied to Dragon87's topic in Engine and Performance Mods
I will have the bellhousings available shortly in order to bolt a US spec talon/eclipse 4g63 up to a W58 gearbox. They will be new castings with machining. They have boss for Quest slave. For that matter, a complete kit will be available as well, release date pending... Take care Shawn -

magna users, what throttlebody r u using?
Shawn_Silva replied to artinist's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
4.6 Ford is the best as it doesn't have all the junk attached to it like the earlier 5L mustang ones. Nice and clean. The explorer uses a similar item. Take care Shawn -
You are correct in your textbook findings. I see just about every Honda smoking our tails on the drag strip, I guess real world is a different game? Take care Shawn

Beefing up Front Control Arms
Shawn_Silva replied to Lizzord30's topic in Rims, Suspension and Brake Mods
I am also working on replacement lower control arms. They will offer tig welded chromoly construction and be fully adjustable. As for the bearings on the ends, Mono-ball spherical bearing or delrin bushings. Aluminum control arms were considered, but for the marginal weight savings over chromoly there is no comparision in strength. I'm in the same boat as Artinist, time dictates release date. Take care Shawn -
Joel, your a poet and you didn't know it.... doah! Seems you always find the time to bust a rhyme.....doah! I think the destroke works well for it's intended purpose, road racing, where you get it spun up and keep it in the higher rpm all day long. But, people in Puerto Rico have stated that Sakura is 2.3 or was at one time, who knows. I do have one PR site that does list Sakura under the 2.3 class in black and white. I believe the 2.3 does have a place on the dragstrip as well, being as you can wind it up higher before you have to shift, therefore gaining more ground between gears. You can run more boost, less gear. Thats my take on it. Take care Shawn

install question.
Shawn_Silva replied to importwarrior's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
Depends on what engine management you chose, crank triggered obviously requiring more fabrication and setup. Also depends how competent you are in regards to wiring and fabrication. Sorry, but your post is a little vague. Take care Shawn -
Yeah and Otis never has them in stock, he's been 'awaiting' them for the last 4+ months, so price means nothing. Take care Shawn
