I purchased a pair of polished 9†rear wheels from Mark. I have never dealt with anyone that demanded I was as happy as I was by the time Mark had closed the transaction we had together. From the instant email communication, the constant voice contact (via long distance on his dime!) throughout, as well as the fast shipping to Canada, I was more than comfortable with the entire experience. Kev, I'm sorry to say but I am going to have to drop out in regards to the rear strut bar. Stedebani's products are VERY high quality and I wish I could order the bar (I ordered a ton of what they offer in the last GP), but since I threw my back out a month ago, income on my end has been very spotty. As I stated before, I believe the newer Mustangs are Tremec transmissions and not Borg Warner T5, no? I just picked up a 1993 T5 Borg Warner the other day and can take pictures or measurements if this is what is required. I think before anyone can claim if it will come out of the factory transmission hole, you would need to know what the thickness of bellhousing or adapter would be. You could then take measurements from engine back face to shifter, taking into account bellhousing/adapter thickness. I quickly jacked the T5 onto the backside of a 4g63 retained in car and into the factory transmission tunnel out of curiosity. By the time the transmission was level inline with drivetrain the very bulky square upper portion of the transmission had fouled the floor in various locations hence not allowing the transmission to retain any form of relation to driveline angle. I think the very round and low profile design of the factory KM132 and the shallow short radius transmission tunnel designed for it will pose the issue of how serious the end user is in making a chassis fit a transmission, rather than a transmission fit the chassis. Once again, I am just giving my opinion on this, so don't curse me please. I personally have seen many a T56 in person, we have many crashed Camaro's and Firebirds over here in the wreckers. Â The Mustang's here do not run T56, they run Tremec transmissions, maybe it is different over in the USA. One thing I do know is, as this picture states, the massive size of the T56. Â Beside the T56 is a Super T-10. Â Any of you old hot rodders that know what a Muncie Super T10, Rock Crusher, etc size is (or ever tried to pick one up, lol) will know they are very beefy for the year (4 spd) and would handle massive amounts of big block torque. Â Now, look at the size of the t56, it is much beefier, it will require SERIOUS floor mods guaranteed. Â It is 5" longer and weighs 140lb's, vs 70lbs of the Muncie. http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/chevyhig...305_t56_2_z.jpg I think first step here is to get one Quest, pull stock trans, try and manhandle T56 into place and see if this is even an option without a full custom transmission tunnel or sledgehammer modification. I never once questioned the quality of your work. I believe the more available for these cars the better! My concern always with any product is that it is proven. If you plan to design and build a prototype and install in a vehicle and offer all the parts or offer the information on the pieces required, then I believe that's a wonderful addition to your product line. If you look at the various threads in the GP section of members designing products, in the end, everyone involved wants a working example to see what they are recieving. You sound very serious with this and also seem to have the knowledge to make this happen for the community. You seem to have harsh feelings towards me, even though we are heading down different pathes in regards to housings being designed. Are you going to have a prototype made first and make sure it actually works in a car (eg. slave cylinder, clutch setup, trans x-member, driveshaft, floor modifications, pilot bearing, release bearing, shifter location, etc) or is that the problem of the people that buy the housing to worry about? : Take care Shawn

Wayne, I honestly think the housings will be approx $1000.00 each when all of the machine work is complete. The housing I had fabricated was from various templates that were modified over the last 2 years (yes I have been following your site and others on the net for quite awhile). I have over a year of my time and countless dollars into this current housing making it just so. I now need to collect enough interest in order to make the plunge and have this housing templated and then have 5-10 housings(or more) cast and then go to work milling them to exact depth for input shaft protrousion. They will then have to be drilled on both faces as well as drilled and tapped for fork pivot. I saw the molested housings that you recieved. I was in complete disgust with the quality, as I'm sure you were as well. This housing was produced mainly as a one-off for my own car which is 4g63 swapped, but expanded into offering the only option currently available in order to swap a basically bulletproof transmission into many different chassis's. The Starion/Conquest slaves are readily available, I am able to offer them with the housing or in my complete kit. The housing was originally fabricated as stated above, for the quest crowd, so designing around a dsm slave would have complicated matters. I can leave the slave cylinder stool undrilled if people want to try and run different slaves. Take care Shawn

Wayne, The bellhousing was designed from day one as offering the end user a rwd option. I'm a machinest and fabricator and have a host of equipment available to me in order to machine, drill and index these housings. A program was originally written in order to cnc machine these housings, but taking into account the massive chunk of billet required it was deemed as being cost prohibitive. The bellhousing was designed around an AWD flywheel, which is 225mm. It uses a Toyota fork and Toyota bearing, clips and ball pivot. The bellhousing is cast with a stool drilled for the Quest slave. The bellhousing uses a stock 4g63 starter. The bellhousing is dowelled like any quality housing. As stated, if I have no demand, I can't offer a price nor an arrival date. The pattern alone that needs to be taken off this housing in order for the foundry to cast these housings is well over $1000.00. Each housing will cost approx $250.00 to cast. I will then have to face the housings to exact depth and drill the faces on a rotary mill. I guarantee no more than 2 thou runout from center, which is d***. Widening steel wheels is one thing, widening aluminum wheels is just dangerous. I refuse to do so, even though I have been asked many times. I would hate to have a wheel come apart, the liability is enough to scare most fabricators off. Take care Shawn

Larry McFarlin/ AKA Forcefed4 started a GP for Magnecor wires. Â Everything was moving along slowly although from the beginning several of the club members (including myself) had concerns of the $25.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit required. Â The pricing looked inline so many of us went ahead with the deposit, many paid in full. The list of interested members was updated hourly in the first week of the gathering of deposits and was also handled quickly with Larry asking for complete payment to be made ASAP. For the last week we have seen no updates. Long standing member falls off the face of the earth. I'm very concerned that we have been ripped off.
