  1. With the stumble try the TPS/ Idle reset and test the TPS. If there is a bad spot it can cause a similar issue and can be done with a cheap analog multimeter from harbor freight. The instructions are in the How tos. The seat belts can also be the switches in the doors, when the boot wears off it can corrode on inside. Your really do have to disassemble a decent amount of interior to get to switches, they should be cleaned and track mildly regreased.
  2. There is still pads and rotors available for rear, but rear calipers are hard to come by. Rebiuld parts are still around for rear calipers, but the special pistons seem to be only available in Australia right now. There is a write up somewhere on internet that bores out piston cup for a mr2 caliper style one.
  3. Save it if you can. Looks clean but price could come down a bit considering parts chasing. Watch that EVO as a daily, mine is a 06 low miles and just started chasing rust, there is no rust protection. Mine was is an 06 and was purchased late that year, was only dailyed close to home by my wife for first 2 years.
  4. I was curious as well but didn't think the cost justified the use, especially with the hub bolting
  5. I still have a HKS and Schneider 274 cam card if that helps. TEP specs as well. I may have saved some of the cam threads as well, will need to check.
  6. If it's not cracked it may be the gasket leaking a dripping on bulb mounting area. MKS motorsports has new taillight gaskets. If your worried about leaking you can use some painters plastic on the rear under your car cover. I do this to the hood vent of my evo when stored.
  7. Awsome we back up and 6 years younger . I was definitely missing this place.
  8. Interested in poly mounts, trilogy injectors, and fuel rail/tbody. I have paypal and be in the 06040
  9. Yes,duration: 274 intake ,274 exhaust Lift: .434 intake , .434 exhaust Lobe separation: 114
  10. Schneider still sells new cams through Trilogy Turbos. I have a new 274 still in box with the cwc markings. I was told that cwc textron is the only blank manufacturer in the US. Almost every aftermarket cam the was new had seen in the past 10 years was cwc cam.
  11. 8745 is the same kit I used. Works fine.
  12. The cwc cam is an aftermarket blank. Top end and Schneider both use those blanks to cut performance cams
  13. I bought my seal kit at autozone for 65 bucks. It seems that most people who traded in cores at various places didn't get the correct gear box back and lost their core.
  14. Competition clutch. Check group buy page for discount.
  15. I didn't think it was right. I had an alignment shop tell me this right turn thing probably because they couldn't adjust the steering right. Mine is perfect . I been working on cars for a while and had some certs but this guy had me 2nd guessing because it seemed plausible. Well now I will have to realign my buddy's quest myself or tell him to take it some where else. Thanks guys.
  16. Saying the stock quest I drove recently had more turns with steering wheel to right than left. The quest I put together has the equal steering left to right . I was told cars are suppose to steer more to right because of tighter right turns like making a right turn at an intersection as apposed to a left turn. I had never heard this before and was wondering if it had any truth . When got out of work today I drove my evo and it was equal turns left to right. I checked the service manual and didn't mention any thing about how many turns left to right.
  17. During my restore I replaced all steering parts including rebuilding steering box and pump. I lined everything back up from scratch and did an alignment. When I installed the box it was centered. So now steering is the same amount left to right and all was good. Well after driving my buddys 88 tsi I noticed it steered more right than left . Then I realized its probably do to tight right turns. My car is almost back together and was wondering if anybody thinks it will be a problem? Car is a autocross/street car. I think my evo 9 is the same way but don't drive it often and forget to check. Would like to hear opinions
  18. Any details on injector selection from those venders, as in what fits and what spacer is needed for us.
  19. Are they the newer injectors?
  20. Purchased alt bolt. It was as described and shipped promptly. He kept me posted of status.
