I forgot to ad that the cam does fell great and pulls nice now on high At pike of pull i am getting very bad clutch slippage.

No not the same cam I got this cam from a old friend " so this is a known good cam" only time can tell.

So I run into a old friend of mine He is a old school G54B guy but in a starlet was a 9 sec ride. anyway I ended up getting some parts he still had for a very good price.Found among the things a 284H cam . So i asked about it he said ran great for him in his race car. I asked how did it degree "i got a dear in the headlight look" he said he line up the marks ! and ran high 9's in his starlet so i said what the hell lets try it so I wanna do it mark to mark . what do you guys think or does everyone degree their cams? The question is has anyone had experience with this? how did it run what was the out come ? and yes it is a Tep aka Schneider cam but a old one

How bad iis it to not run a T stat?

Please do not take my post as a shot at any I do understand. On a side note I have had help by Funky phil over the phone and help from scott In which believe it or not I always give you guy credit in my parts here. I wish i was close to Tx i would have phil tune my car and pay every bit for it.

I have yet to see any of the top Running guys ever post their timing or fuel maps .I understand why it is blood and sweat some guys work very hard on tuning and make their money that way.I coach little league but after i am finally getting down to my brothers shop to make alot of pulls on dyno I will post everything.The nicest thing is it will be on a dynomite dyno so i think a starquest first maybe.
