Going to be clearing out all my starquest stuff.. Keeping my Blue Mistress for me and the kid to work on when he gets older but have a motor swap planned. So for the moment I'm trying to get a feel if there's any intrest in Stock parts and what not still I have an engine < I need to check it over before i put it up as it has been sitting in the garage wrapped up for the past six years. which had just been dipped and touch honed, had a balanced assmbly with clutch and flywheel but the pistons were set up N/A as i was just going to use the engine in a D50 pickup i had. The trans has 88K on it if i remeber correctly and about 2k on the short throw shift kit I traded for. Can't remember who it was making them at the time. about 8 years ago. trans is currently still in the car and I would prefer local pickupp unless somone knows a reasonable way to ship them. Asking $350 for the trans with the short throw.

I drove out there one summer to help another guy pull the motor out of his car... without a cherry picker behind an apartment building lol. We finished then came over to your house and i believe you were just getting started on the first Monturbo. and either just before or just after that i set up a meet out here in Milan Michigan which i suppplied dogs and burgers

lol if you have kids then GF/Wife ranks up higher than the car... if not she'll make sure that once child support is deducted you wont have $$$ left for anything else or worse you'll come home to a pile of scrap metal that was once a quest

LoL Glad to see you 2 are still at it. Im gonna be dumping off all my 2.6 stuff here soon. the car sits in the garage awaiting money,time, and a garage that can actually be worked in.. but i figure it'll be a project for me to do with my boys as they are growing up.

I dont see rust in the pics.. and from my experience here in michigan with these cars when they start to rust you see it quite quickly.. and my apologies as i just realized i posted it in the wrong section. I'll give the guy a call and take a camera and see what i can see on this car

Found it on craigslist if anyone looking to get one. pretty good shape from what i can see in the pics. Says it has a bad motor but comes with a replacement. not to hijack this or anything but does anyone know whatever became of the 351w in a quest guy?? I'm currently sitting on a 351. and my quest has been sitting for way too long. I'm just wondering if anyone has any kind of measurements for motor mounts and such

the biggest question is are the current "missing parts" in a box in the guys garage just hasn't gotten around to putting them in.. what little bit i see missing is not that big a deal. I'm sure you could find parts here on the boards. They are a fun car.. mine has been my forever project.. cant seem to decide which way to go with it

yes i only have the fronts.. I'll try and get a pic of them tommorow when i ge home from work.. i'm only askin 60 for tem.. thaqs what i paid at the u pull t yard when i got them.. we put them in a buddys ranger for a few months just for grins..

Checking to see if anyone is looking for a set of early seats.. say turbo on them.. they are blue and grey and in fairly decent shape.. need a good cleaning from sitting in storage but no tears that i noticed.. Pat

well fellas i'm plannin on having mine done this spring.. have motor and trans need harness ad ecu and life is good.. i'll drop a line back when i get her done
