car has been in the family since 91 i bought it from my uncle with a cracked head replaed the head but still cant get the car to start no mechanic wants anything to do with this car lol so anyway Ive done anything thats ever been done to it my uncle had no mechanical issues wit the car while he had it the body is solid it has one ding on the fender but nothing serious i dont have the patience or the time to mess with this car i have a clear title maybe an easy fix just not easy enough for me call or txt for info 912 412 4240 cars in savannah GA i have 1500 in it i would like to get that back 114k og milies ill txt more pics at request i need to sell this car this week 1200

ok well ive used the test light at the plug that goes to the fuel pump it lights when i apply power to the test port i have checked it in on and start and remember i bought this car with this problem its nothing ive done to the car just tryin to fix i havent checked the injectors but i will now. and i do appreciate all the help i feel like i just keep going over the same spots over and over again

and by plug i mean the one that goes into the fuel pump the only time i do get power is when i appl 12v to the test port

ok i wanna to try one more thing and didnt take it to the shop i replaced the pick up coil and guess what the car fires but still no fuel does anyone no the reason why i would still not be getting power to the plug

ok i checked the coil its wired up right i cleaned the fuse links still nothing im gonna take a guess here and say its the ignition switch and if its not im having it hauled to mitisubishi cause i been scratching my head so long i got a raw spot lol

i dont see the tach jumping at all when i try to start the car mike theres no trace of any water around or near the ecu. when u mean the ignition systems gone bad do u mean the igniton control module or the igntion in the car or all of it?

ok my uncle owned the car its an 89 conquest tsi he owned it since 91 he drove it till 2007 when he blew a head gasket.the car has not benn driven since! i always wanted the car but he wouldnt get rid of it till just a few months ago and i immediately bought it. i tried to crank it long enough to pull it up on a trailer to bring it home but no fuel. i figured a fuel pump so i went ahead and replaced the headgasket and head. and now that thats done we arrived at this problem....

ok i checked the fuse link its good i also installed a whole new distributer the coil #8202 thought maybe that was the problem so i went andgot a yellow accel still nothing im thnk the igition control module what do u guess think

ok thanks for the help i thought it might be that quick questin tho i got a distributer out of an 84 cam i use that istead of tearing down mine o and by the way mines a 89
