  1. trans worked great for for 1 thru 3 but OD was never there sometimes it would shift in and out alot and then just stay in 3rd after that or when you would hit the button it wouldn't even try to shift in to OD i never got around to test things or adjust the band. but you said something was locked up earlier so maybe the trans went south on my wife and not the motor but it sure as hell sounded like a bad rod knock.
  2. i bought the turbo xs fcd for mine and have seen at least 25 thats all my gauge goes to but the needle was past it and had no problems. but at least with the turbo xs fcd you can set were you want the fuel cut to kick in or do like me and turn it off completely
  3. i'm just petty sometimes if something comes up again. find out what she drives to school or rides in. on a hot day buy a fish from the store a nice fish from the seafood area not that prepackaged crap. now come in alittle late and see if the windows down if so just chuck the fish in the window or if the windows are up some duct tape to the floor board near the exhaust also works nice. or there's always the good old setup and wait all night thing. if they show up run out the door with a gun shot guns normally work the best. you dont have the gun loaded once they see you or your dad with a gun that normally scares the shat out of them enough to leave you alone forever unless there really physco. yes this does work i had alot of crazy girlfriends thru high school and they got worse in collage. i had one that even put in enough effort to jack my car up while i was at work and cut my fuel line. she got the fish and a fish in the engine of a 70's beetle really stinks :D
  4. there oz racing f1 cups in 17x7.5 no clue on offset but i need more spacers to push them out more and either more tire or lower the car 2 inchs. just the low profile tires made a world of difference in the cars handling what i always thought was massive body roll was the balloon tires rolling over

  5. wish i could do it for 600 delivered but i'm kind of in the same boat. i need the money to get the trans fixed in my dodge since my jeep decided to go from no rust to rusted in half in a year. if the convertor for my dodge wasn't 550 i'd do it in a heart beat for you.
  6. ok change of mind i'll throw in the head thats on the car and cam which is a regrind cant remember if it a 274 or 284 hyd the heads mechnical tho for 700 for everything minus turbo the 18g is staying with me for my 83.

     

    frame rail and quarter pics where they normally rot out keep in mind the cars funky from setting for awhile but i'll wash before delivery or pickup

  7. selling a 88 white auto with red interrior no rust that i've found motor is blown.

     

    the good

     

    decent paint, sunroof, interriors not to bad, trilagy injectors with maybe 300 miles. low miles on transmission rebuild

     

    the bad

     

    motors blown spun rod maybe. head will be pulled off along with the turbo and exhaust manifold. i will throw in a good head thats been pressure tested and plained. also have a crank that can be turned to go with the motor and another block if you want it. airdams inplace but cracking like almost all of them. also has a set of aftermarket rims they arn't great thats why i posted them in the bad section. car also needs a tie rod end one is bent. i drove the car for maybe 300 miles like said and the only issue was it did not liking overdrive it would sometimes go in or out probably just needs a new sensor or have the od band adjusted. seat needs bolted back in. will also need tires.

     

    asking 600 it's a very clean car and would like to see it end up in good hands. i can also deliver for gas within a certain distance.

  8. it will take about the same to get both fast. a compound turbo setup for the cummins will cost the same as the sts kits same for the programer or tuner. but with the cummins you dont need to tear the motor apart to stroke it and even modded the cummins will still outlast the hemi and get alot more mpg.

     

     

     

    look at the parts listed for the last 1 at the end and compair it to what has been done to the one in your video's

    thats a 83 airdam really hard to find in good shape but atleast there meta.

    if you look at the last pic you'll notice that once the suspension is under load both holes still point towards the brakes how well it works without ducting is a guess. they also allow easy access to the tow hooks if i remember right.

  10. my early 83 had cruise and a lsd but never had abs and also came with the 14in wheels. i'm the 2nd owner and talked to the 1st owner before and he said the only thing that was done to the car was the dealer cut the area off the rockers where the jet valve adjuster was. so that adds more weirdness to this hole 83 thing.
