Right there with you. I put the top Everstart in my truck just because I don't want it to let me down. It's worth an extra $20 for the peace of mind. Now if i could find something sweet to fit the stock tray on the Quest...Providing I get a little cash flowing again, lol....

ucw458
I have optima batteries in 3/4 of my cars. They last a long time but they aren't cheap. But thankfully through sheer luck and knowing the right people I ended up with 3 optimas for $
Dave-O
I'll run whatever until I have the money, then I'll be investing in an Optima gel-cell.
UlrichWolf
I bought a battery for the Vic about two months ago. Group 65, Motorcraft, ran about 80 bucks. Seemed right for a Group 65 battery. Tim
iamlew
costco has optimas for about 150... also they used to have a 3 year no question asked replacement policy on them, but I heard that it's gone, may want to ask.

Kreal
The cost of lead has risen significantly this past year. Last year an old battery sold as a core to a 'core buyer' was $10-$15 depending on size. Now, any old bad battery sold as a core is $25-$30. Remember all of the old junk batteries you threw away, or left in a car when taking it to the junkyard? That was $$ leaving your wallet.
