use antisiese o teh threads too, stailness likes to gaul and you'll end up tearing threads or breakign studs if one does that.

I'd use antisieze int eh head, I'd rather the stud backed out than to break it off if somethig nsiezed. you can always put a stud back in, but it's a PITA to fix a broken stud  .

I just helicoiled ALL the exhaust stud threads on a DSM head because the fool that had the head before me over tightend the studs or had the studs in and out too much.... all the threads came out on the studs!

So if you guys see any marginal threads throw a helicoil in it... or you'll have a stud(s) that will pull right outta the head.

Thanks guys, so no Loctite huh? I usually use anti-seize on everything.. :?

BTW, the ARP studs have a cool little broached head on the outside end with a 3mm allen key so you don't have to use pliers or 2 nuts to screw them in :D

PN's :D

Intake- AF1.725-12GB 10 needed

Exhaust- AF2.000-12GB 8 needed

They're about $3.50 each

I didn't order their washers or nuts (I already have 'em; I have another source for SS metric hardware, spent at least $300 on all different fasteners throughout the car)

I've called and ordered them directly (805) 330-2200
