Conquest Junki
Can anyone tell me if automatic transmission ECU's and manual ECU's are interchangeable?
kev
There is no difference between the ECU from an auto car vs a manual car. What year is your car? If you have an 87, an 88/89 ECU is a good upgrade for it.
Conquest Junki
Ok cool mine is a 88 but ECU is not putting out the 1v to the O2 sensor so I bought a 88 ECU but it said A.T rear wheel drive so I wasn't sure if it would work or not. Thank you for replying!!!!!
scott87star
The ECU doesn’t supply anything to the O2 sensor, the sensor supplies the voltage to the ECU. I forget if it’s 0.5 volts below stoic and 1 Volt above or the other way around but the voltage is generated by the chemistry happening within the sensor.
