I assume there was some kind of promotion deal involved with this detailing.  Otherwise I couldn't imagine spending the money for that kind of detail. and then having to send it to a mechanic to get it running with it being so clean!

Amazing job, although I did kind of cringe a little when he soaked down that mint cardboard on the cargo cover lol.

Now we need a video of someone getting it road worthy.  Likely not a terrible job beyond the fuel system work that is likely needed.

I had the same thought.  I couldn't help but think after sitting 20 years that gas tank is probably shot.  It seems like tanks in decent shape are getting real scarce too.

Watching him detail I got to say I was not impressed with the cleaning and degreasing foams but that compound Is amazing. I tried to buff out my red car and no matter what I used I seemed to have a haze to. I was using my stupid expensive 3M 3 step system with multiple pads and never got close to the shine he got, and my paint was in significantly better condition. White foam should not stay white after being sprayed on a car like that.

Ive had the same bad results from the 3m stuff. Granted im not a pro, just do my own car. For me ive had results im happy with using the simple Groits complete compound and polish that come in the yellow bottles.

Do you have a good foam recommendation?  I have used Chemical guys, and 1320 Street shine foam.  I have been happy with the results but if there is a better option I would like to try it.

I really hate washing cars, but I hate a dirty car more.  I don't trust the tunnel washes with my Barracuda or Conquest lol.

BlueCuda - I have been out of the detail scene for decades so I have no useful information. I used to get the stuff from the car wash so industrial strength, and you could spray it on a clean car and see the black streaks roll down the car. Stuff was simply amazing.

Griots was mentioned earlier in the thread.  A good friend of mine with a 66 Galaxie talked me into Griots products about 2 years ago.  I've never looked back.  I've noticed a huge difference in the way the car looks and stays.  Love their products for detailing.
