gstruthers
A couple of questions. So last week someone backed into my 87 Conquest and broke the drivers side headlamp (in the bumper). Anyone have any ideas on where to get a replacement? Second item, awhile back the heat/AC display stopped working. Both the heat and AC still work just fin, but no display to see what the temp is actually set at. None of the local garages have a clue. Any ideas on a fix for this? Thanks! ssblast20
Regarding the diplay, find the proper fuse in the fuse panel and wiggle it and see if that does anything. It's common for the terminals that hold the fuse to widen, so you can bend them back with an eyeglass flathead to tighten them up again. If not, you may have a bad display. Are you talking about the fog light in the front bumper? Or the headlight itself? Steve

Any ideas on a fix for this? 99% sure this is your light controller. IIRC only 86-87's have them, but I may be mistaken. It's this black box next to the blower motor: Try tapping it to see if your backlighting comes on.
