Contsi Posted July 12, 2022 Report Share Posted July 12, 2022 87 Quest - Years ago the secondary injector developed a leak; I was pretty sure it was coming through the body. I hear now that this is not very common. I replaced it with a used one and all was well. Recently my primary injector developed a leak and I was thinking same thing and started panicking, as finding another (stock) would be challenging if not impossible. When I removed it, I noticed that the top O ring was pretty flat and worn, so I replaced it with the O ring that I had left on the old secondary, which I had kept, and all is well. Can these things be tested for such leak? The car has always run nice and I'm very paranoid of the injectors going bad. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even if you need new fuel injectors you can buy a aftermarket set for a hell of a lot less than Mitsu. charges you.
