Image URLs do not resolve within posts...

I hope this reaches the admins! Haven't been around too much but when I look at any old post I've made with images, (which are hosted on my server which has no issues,) the image URL is displayed instead of the image. To make it worse, the URLs aren't even hyperlinks, you'd need to copy/paste it to view the image.

For example, this post :

 

Can you resolve the issue by allowing hyperlinks to resolve image files inside the posts?

I'm not an admin but I believe the way the site is designed now, it only lets urls appear from secure https sites.   If it is http, then it won't work.

You mean for embeds? I see those links form his post are hyperlinked now; did you manually hyperlink those, or just re-paste them?

Yes, embed.  Sorry for my poor terminology.    You get this error if you try to embed those specific images:  The link could not be embedded because only https URLs are allowed.

I use flickr for my images but i cant post them using the url on the desktop. Only way the show up is if i copy/paste the image link from my phone. Then they show up on the desktop site unless im the only one that can see the pictures on my end.

Are the URLs from your desktop ending with the file extension (.img, .png, .jpg, etcetera)? If not, it won't embed.
