03CL55AMG Posted January 15, 2022 Report Share Posted January 15, 2022 Well my fairly new ...not used very much hood release cable broke, luckily when I replaced this one ,I tied some wire to the latch as a back-up. its a PITA when its closed and no cable to pull. I purchased my last one from DADS...Engine Machine Service...I went to there website and there were some categories to click on, but nothing there....does anybody know if DAD is still in business or a reliable replacement for our hood release cables. thanks. Dad (Randy Gains) may start selling parts again but hood cables are NLA. Some people are using a bicycle cable to replace the hood release cable but I'm not sure of the length required.
