zwep
My fuel tank sounds like there is gravel, I had to cut the hard line before the fitting because when i tried to take it off the line twisted on me so I just want to replace it all. There is a lot of fuel cells and -AN6 braided fuel lines and fittings online. I am willing to spend the money but do not want to buy junk eBay parts. Could someone point me in the right direction for reputable brands for these items or maybe even a kit?
BlueCuda
Finding a kit for this application would likely be impossible from a "bolt in" standpoint. I am sure can have your stock tank cleaned out locally.
obsolete
If there's one of these near you, I've heard good things about their work: https://www.gastankrenu.com/ If you need a replacement fuel sending unit, MKS sells a great one for an in-tank pump: http://mksmotorsport.com/ If you really want to replace the whole tank, there's this: https://www.legionelitemotorsports.com/legion-elite-custom-parts/img_b345da725832-1/#main Isaiah got a reputation for sketchy quality after shipping some coilovers that bent or broke on people while driving. I've never heard anything one way or another about that fuel tank. Looks like a generic aftermarket tank with some bulkhead fittings, mounting tabs, and a stock-style filler neck welded on. The picture shows a silicone coupler on the filler neck, which definitely isn't safe to use with gasoline. Buyer beware, looks like a good idea for a product but I'm not sure I'd trust the execution. psu_Crash
I like to use push lock fittings with a crimp ring for fuel lines. Also stay clear of any swivel adapters/fittings. They always seem to develop a leak at some point. Aeroquip for everything is one of the best options, in my opinion. If the budget is a concern I have also had decent luck with the Jegs or Summit branded fittings and line. You just have to make a list of what fittings you need and start to go nuts. You'll figure out what you forgot along the way Edited December 22, 2021 by psu_Crash
