scott87star
It seems to run well, just won't idle. You will have to check out the ISC (Idle Speed Control) and do a TPS reset. TPS reset, the first two: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showforum=65 ISC is covered in the service manual on: http://www.starquestgarage.com

techboy
If it's an aftermarket pump, it shouldn't have the cone filter. Aftermarket pumps are typically a lot smaller than the stock, with th exception of the Bosch pump.

techboy
Your car had an aftermarket pump. That looked like a Airtex E8000 to me. They are known to die.
Myke_z28
is that fuel pum E8000 ,,but is conected another cable extra positive and negative to the fuel pump--- the cable go to relay of the fan direct
T-Harps
Are the "extra wires" the ones in the picture you posted of the pump? (coming from the black box) If so, I believe that is just a capacitor for smoothing the current to the pump
Myke_z28
a topic here see the black capacitor should be eliminated if he had adapted an extra power cable to the pump.( Where must be connected that extra power cable to send the voltage to pump gas? )
