Sad site in the junkyard today.

After getting the word there was a flatty in a local junkyard here in Winston Salem, I went to check it out today.

Sadly the poor thing is toast, was a very early Dodge Conquest built July 1983.

All I could save was the armrest, badges and some clips. A very sad site. :(

Steering wheel was nasty on top, in fact the whole interior was ripped to shreds. The radio console was all cracked on the other side.Driving light lenses cracked (I need one too)

Manual a/c control was cool. No wiper on hatch, couldn't get it open.

I've come to see junk yards as big graveyards for really cool cars that time has left behind.

I see an AMC behind the quest.

Nice score Colin. I would absolutely love that center console for my grey interior swap that I'm slowly doing. How was the headliner and "A" pillars? Edited by wrngwae

Windshield, & front license plate bracket, look ok .

Another one bites the dust man. Sad site to see. Like a local junkyard here where the owners son was a enthusiast.

Had 20 or so parts cars sitting around the jyard and decides he don't like them no more and crushes them.

Interior was ripped to shreds, someone had taken a knife to the headliner, everything else had been torn off or had just rotted. Rare gray interior would have been sweet. What a waste.

Going to clean up the armrest, PM me if you want it bro.

Pouring with rain, soaked just getting the few bits I did get. I should have grabbed that bracket.

I'm actually surprised to see so,much concern for an 83. In all my years people mourn the wide body and shp cars, yet 83 cars usually loose the hood/tails and go strait to the crusher. No Flatty love.

You mean to say there are "83 tail light vultures" as well? Learn somthing new every day!
