MainstreaM
Up for sale is the famed Diesel Raider. Why you ask, I'm selling my shop and my house to buy a house with way more land and some rental properties. This will be one less thing I'll have to move. You will actually be getting a two for one. I have wrngwae (Tye) old Raider that I've had for quite some time now. Being from up in the salty road north this thing started to rot drastically here in the humid south, gotta love accelerated oxidation. One of the metal brake lines actually burst while braking down a steep hill, hence the reason I parked it. Fear not for I have also a rust free southern Georgia body to swap every thing over to. You'll need to swap engine, trans, and rear for the LSD. Also the interior and the windshield. Some punks busted out the windshield in the Georgia body so I'd say everything inside it is ruin't. Which isn't a bad thing, by swapping out wiring you'll get headlamp washers and some of Tye's upgrades from the offroad package that is on the Indiana body. The Indiana interior was way nicer to begin with anyway. I had planned to swap everything over but just have no time in the foreseeable future to do so. I'm up to my eyeballz in projects and need to pass a few on to some one else who unlike me, isn't a single dad with custody of one and have the other on all available days off. 1987 Diesel Raider "Indiana"4D55 rebuilt by Tye himself.Stock turbo with FMICHolley lift pump with return systemFuel heater/filter element12V glow plugsAuto trans 4x4, stall is a little high for the diesel engine but the 4D5x motors are high revving for a diesel anyway.Offroad package which includes LSD rear, headlamp washers, and drivers suspension "bouncy" seat 1987 Raider "Georgia"No engine or trans, that hard work is doneEngine wiring removed (was going to turbo swap this one, gave up on that when I got the diesel)Some of interior removed alreadyOriginally was a five speed ExtrasI've got a few spare parts that came with it from Tye, some got ruined in a flood (neither Raider got caught in that thankfully, my garage was a different story), but others survived. Also, for a little extra, I have a highly coveted, rare as hens teeth, DIESEL FIVE SPEED 4x4 TRANSMISSION if you wanted to use it instead of the auto. The manual trans in the diesel trucks was NOT a cable clutch system like the gassers, it is indeed, hydraulic which is the same as all Montero/Raiders. That's all I can remember right now, I'll ask wrngwae to add some details. Clear titles on both although if you swap every thing, you can title it as either one. pickshures:Indianahttp://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag431/mainstreamcc/Mobile%20Uploads/20150909_175047_zps4z8z7bw8.jpgInteriorhttp://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag431/mainstreamcc/Mobile%20Uploads/20150909_175058_zpszs5t5prg.jpgEnginehttp://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag431/mainstreamcc/Mobile%20Uploads/20150909_175139_zpse5t9neij.jpgUndercarriage, little rusty, notice the backside of the rockers, yep, holeshttp://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag431/mainstreamcc/Mobile%20Uploads/20150909_175314_zpschnkupo4.jpg Georgiahttp://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag431/mainstreamcc/Mobile%20Uploads/20150909_175205_zpsscquwuo4.jpgInteriorhttp://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag431/mainstreamcc/Mobile%20Uploads/20150909_175227_zpsgqg6k0vy.jpgEngine bayhttp://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag431/mainstreamcc/Mobile%20Uploads/20150909_175216_zpsmkot36bg.jpgUndercarriage, mo bettahttp://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag431/mainstreamcc/Mobile%20Uploads/20150909_175248_zpsdu2uk5yh.jpg Manual trans from this guy. wrngwae
Oh man. That's a deal there Kane. The front mount intercooler is a factory Starquest one. The starter is a diesel starter modified for the flex plate of the auto trans. If someone wanted to go 5 speed all they would basically have to do is flip the gear on the nose of the starter. And all diesel equipped pickups were hydro clutch as well as raiders/monteros been a while since I have worked on a 4d55 lol. Glws brother. speedyquest
A fun little trip would be to take a week off work, fly down there, buy them off you, and then camp in your front yard to fix it up then drive it home LOL. "Why is there a hobo in your front yard mumbling about Starions and tearing apart your truck?!"

"Why is there a hobo in your front yard mumbling about Starions and tearing apart your truck?!" Dang son, only take a week? Go ahead and take the whole month, I got a couple of other projects too. No one would bat an eye, probably be thankful for clearing them out.
