allen405
I noticed that it is NLA on dad's website. What is a good alternative then? Also length and I.D. would be nice. Thanks

allen405
That's a nice idea but I guess I'd like to just stick with original location and hose for now. So, I'd need to find a high heat hose about 5.5 in long and I'm not sure on diameter.

Plus instead of one big soft hose you could have a metal one with a short coupler that would wear less
pcristquester
Brian at lsp on here might still offer a metal braided one. A little stiffer to install than the OEM, but mine has served me well for years. Or you could just make one yourself
allen405
Does anyone know for sure if it's 5/8 or 3/4? I found some online I can buy but I need the correct diameter. I don't have a caliper to measure it. Thanks
MPGorBOOST
I used 3/4" braided hose and a flex section for heater core lines. It was a tad bigger than stock but easier to remove. http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll252/Project88Starion/tempFileForShare_2015-09-08-11-20-08_zpslx9jfqr4.jpg
ucw458
3/4 is the size iirc. Don't use coolant hose. After a month it will be very soft and sweating oil. Use a quality hydraulic line. I used a nice cloth braided line from napa.
