Rebuild motor

Hey how everyone doing my head gasket took a s*** . The head crack and the block was ran with water all it life so is all rusted inside . Am looking for a long block maybe even a short Block. Can be stock or build . Am in California los angeles Am welling to drive a few hours if it well worthy. I can buy a use motor but i drive 80mile to work and back. It appears to me in his post, he has a new head. If the lower end is what's used, don't count on it dying soon at 100k. The motor in my 88 was original up to 250k. These lower ends are very strong from factory.

 

I wouldn't count it out by any means. If you're that worried, get some new bearings and a lower gasket set and slap them in there. It'll be good for another 200k probably.
