RonnieJ
Thanks guys. I got the Tstat housing and it looks like it will work great. Im having a few base plates cut to my spec. The one I cut by hand wasnt as straight as I wanted it to be. As soon as I get them ill get back to it.
starquestJOE
Ronnie you don't need to cut the intake flange down and around the mechanical fuel pump block off plate. All the eip flanges are not cut for it. And it makes for a stronger flange. All I did for gaskets was one stock intake gasket and two block plate gaskets to match the thickness of the intake gasket
RonnieJ
I know you dont need to but to me its not ascetically pleasing. Also if I did end up having a leak there I would rather not pull the IM to fix it.

RonnieJ
Ported the stacks today with 60, 80, 120, 150, 220, and 320 grit. importwarrior
looks amazing. i would like to see what your setup will be for the PCV, brake booster, BOV, and a few Vac lines like the foot face?
RonnieJ
The plenum has 2 ports on each side for vacuum. Im welding shut and smoothing the top ports. The bottom ports will be for everything. If I keep the brake booster/go to a smaller one it will have its own dedicated port. As for the AC/Heat and BOV, that will be ran from a vacuum block. PCV...What is that lol. Im still going to run it how ive ran it since I bought the car. Both the valve cover ports to a can. WIth the new turbo and drain line going to the pan I may use the old port as a 3rd crankcase ventilation port to the can
RonnieJ
Made a heat sink for the head flange today. Was fun drilling and tapping all those damn holes. I might get around to welding the plenum and upper runners up tomorrow http://jdlautodesign.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/IMG_9110-e1430889324753.jpg

RonnieJ
I've messed with the Tstat housing for the last few days and I've about had it lol. I think I'm going to remote mout it and just weld the AN fitting to the head flange. Nothing seems to look easing to me

Shaggy_TSi
I know you make a living doing this kind of work, so you probably know how it fits by now, judging by the pics, but I had to angle my runners when I did mine for clearance issues. They are both angled up and to the front. Just trying to free you from the problems I encountered. http://i438.photobucket.com/albums/qq103/Jocxellier/For%20sale/20120226_160014.jpg Your's look way more professional, so keep it up, you wont regret it!! Might contact you in the future for a exhaust manifold
RonnieJ
Yup. My plan was to weld the runners and base to the plenum then angle them all together as 1 piece
