Finally installed the AUX-IN modded stock radio(not without breaking 27 year old brittle plastic), center console and the mids in the doors to my new components. The tweets are going in place of factory dash speakers. And some more blue off the driver's door.

Drove it yesterday to pick up some mandarin food for dinner. Very happy the oring has held on my steering box and somehow the radiator is holding together, so thanks for the spare Mark. Back to stripping trim and sanding or scraping some more blue away

No o-ring exists from the factory. Chassispuke gave me a few to try because he had luck using one to seal the leak at the top where the 17mm nut meets the top of the box. He said some people just put glue or rtv instead. Just remove the 17mm nut, clean real good, roll the o-ring over the adjustment threads as far down as possible and reinstall 17mm nut...done. 2 minute job

Finally finished installing the tweeters in place of the dash speakers. The drivers side was quite involved just as the thread in the modifications section described.http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag335/pcrist/010205_zps1nletwtf.jpghttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag335/pcrist/014205_zpsget8xkwm.jpg

Also did some wet sanding on the roof and between hood and wiper cowls. I wonder if Niko's wiper cowls will be done before i'm ready to paint...http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag335/pcrist/010206_zpsr9kz9nlz.jpghttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag335/pcrist/020204_zpsvhekuqun.jpg

Did something requiring less elbow grease than stripping and wet sanding this b. I converted to led bulbs all around with electronic flashers. Nice to have my younger son help me with something on it. He was sitting in the drivers seat pushing the brake pedal as I needed to check operation and noticed this one has a sunroof. I told him it comes completely of if wanted and he said he wishes my black quest had it, too. Good times
