NikoFab
Hey Gang, From what I've heard, read, etc it seems like the S13 aluminum radiator is a choice piece when modding our sleds. I have been researching them and there are several different to choose from. There are some that are made for the KA series motors and some for the SR20 series motors as well. What's the best application/platform S13 radiator when using one for our cars? Keep in mind I'm switching to MPI and tuning to 325hp. Not to be rude, but I'm not looking for a best guess opinion...I'm looking for feedback from those who've actually used these or have steep experience in cooling system works. I've spent a ton of money on this car and want to make absolutely sure that I'm making the right choice. I've got to order one within the next week, so any advice from those who've used or are using an S13 platform radiator would be greatly appreciated. Cheers,Nick Edited September 10, 2014 by NikoFab

ucw458
When you mount those fans, put some foam tape between the fan and radiator. That will stop the fan from moving and damaging the radiator.

Fuze
I also have the CX Racing 2 row for the SR20DET, and two slim electric fans. Temp gauge stays in the middle most of the time with the fans off. I used the Mazda V6 lower hose, fits perfect. http://distilleryimage7.ak.instagram.com/006227dc354311e3b39722000aeb4586_7.jpg Edited September 10, 2014 by Fuze
IntercooledFlatty
here's the three row, i had to trim the fan a bit but it worked great. you made a good choice, with electric fans you will have no problem by the way, spend a little time with some 600 grit and soapy water, then some 1000 grit and hit it with mothers or white diamonds to make it look like this http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s263/aiche_photos/Olive/012.jpg
Fuze
One other thing, you'll need to figure out where to stick the thermosensors if you still run them. You can use a universal coolant sensor adapter like this one, just pick the right size.. http://www.jscspeed.com/images/catalog/category22226_thumb_full.jpgEBAY LINK to universal coolant sensor adapter Edited September 10, 2014 by Fuze
