i didnt see a text or phone call... <_<

Figured you would be at work or on call, and pushing the silver car would have been to hard on you, brakes are dragging. Changing all that tonight

I had that not long ago, ended up being a strut mount, i couldn't find anything wrong by hand even after I took it out, but i swapped them and noise went away

Another note, motors in, but still have a ways to go

^^Sweet deals on those!

I started delving into tuning theory last night. I'd rather go into it as informed as possible then just tweaking with no idea what I'm doing.

Replaced a dry rotted heater hose, filled up with anti freeze, set timing and took the red 88 I just put the newly machined head on to the gas station for her maiden voyage. After the head work and porting it spools up pretty fast. Still got a few bugs to work out but expected after it sat for a few years. Debating on getting leather seats recovered and new paint or just sell her as she sits. Was planning on keeping her but since wife just bought a new ride I need to get rid of something.

what was wrong with the previous car? rust issues? why did you swap to another chassis?

Large sections of floor board missing, core support has been replaced from a po accident, holes at wheel wells, holes in door jams, 5 speed ready to blow. New chassis is auto, the diesel likes 2300 at 70 better than 2900 lol, made the ride alot nicer

Last week, put in gas & tried to start FINALLY, but MSD box passed away. No spark. Shoot.

Going with SDS's coil pack ignition now, which means distributorless, newer wires, & swapping to different Hall sensor.

Pulled SDS & shipped up to them in Canada to get swapped up to newer version EM5-F with datalogging since they need it anyways. Should arrive today & be back in time for me being away for a week.

October it is.
