Technology
So it shouldn't be an issue really to get them at the right length. I was under the impression it was hard to find the right parts to get it to work. I look forward to updates.

Frenchi934
Then put all of it on the car to attach the tie rod ends and column. I need to go to the junkyard and find another steering universal joint. And i also need to order another tie rod for the rack. The passengerside one is bent :/ Thank god for aftermarket. http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/5007/sdc12032a.jpg http://img854.imageshack.us/img854/4971/sdc12033h.jpg http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/8717/sdc12034m.jpg http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/6827/sdc12036x.jpg
Frenchi934
Ordered a new tie rod (the drivers side one was bent), two tie rod ends and two bellows. Going to get some motor mounts on order, get another steering u-joint, get this firewall and trans tunnel cut and figure out what to do with the oil pan...once the motors in the fun should really begin haha. Next is to finish up the steering system, get the firewall cut and see how this motor is going to fit in there.

randy
Was that necessary to cut the fire wall and the tranny tunnel to put the motor and trans in? I see it will go in in one shotBoosted88TSI just cut the header panel.
