The PDX cam was ok. Seemd to move the powerband higher, and had more charge, but I switched back to the stock cam. The Stock quest hyd cam is a good performer, if you add better springs and remove the exhaust restrictions. The springs in these cars are really bad, and tend to lose their tension fast. Get some schneider springs before you decide to upgrade the cam, and your valve float will go away. I was redlining my car to 6k and above with the stock cam and was making good power. Also, an adjustable cam gear is important if you really want to dial in your valve trane . Shawn Silva used to make them, however my old gear went away with my old long block (sniff.. sniff..).

So to recap-

Upgrade Springs

Obtain Adjustable Cam Gear

New Timing components (Chain etc..)

Degree/dial in cam

...Profit
