MAF Translator Gen II install on a 89 Conquest TSI
KrazedZ replied to kf4eok's topic in Advanced Virtual Mechanic
Alittle off subject here but how would this gen 2 translator work if the mafs was placed after the intercooler and say about 10"-12" before the tb? -
i was looking at buying one of them, how are they? make a difference...feel, shift and all that stuff?
-
hmm, very nice, i think i'm back in the market for a starquest
-
i hear you on that...however to ship overseas it would be somewhere around $800 in just shipping. That is crazy
-
still for sale
-
they are way too heavy to ship over seas, it would cost a fortune in shipping. Sorry Tony

I'm curious about these magna heads myself, i've only seen pictures of the ports and from what i can see, is they are pretty much the same configuration as a stock/marnal/m28, the seats appear to be in the same location as well as the entry point on the intake side meaning that they all have a poorly designed runner, but it is what it is for this style head. I haven't flowed a magna head, but i have flowed the others and they all are pretty much the same except for the aftermarket ones being thicker in material.

Thinking about letting my '89 yellow conquest go, i was planning on doing a ls1 v8 swap in it, but just getting kinda busy with a bunch of other projects. Still up in the air, if i get some interest in it, i'll let it go. Looking to get $1500 for it. There is no motor in the car, selling as a roller, 115k on body, its an automatic car with sunroof, adjustable struts in great shape. I'll post up some pics, there is one in my sig of the car.
