THAnx for the help! that sux cause it was a good Deal on the rims Bolt-on spacers do exist. And if you want to stay away from spacers altogether, prepare to buy custom offset rims for $550-1500 each depending on brand and size. Then you'll be lucky to not have to wait two or three months for them to arrive.

michael knight
To get close to stock rear offsets you'll need a 35 mm spacer. Stock offset for a rear 9" is 0 offset. What could you get awy with and still have them look good?.....Atleast a 15mm spacer. I think most guys would say for a 9.5" rim a good offset would be atleast -10. That would mean you'd need a 45mm spacer which is close to 2 inches. 25.4mm=1inch. -offset means pushed closer to fenders. +offset equals closer to strut. Currently I have a stock 8inch rim with spacer and my total offset is -25. For good spacers do an advanced search for "wheel spacers" in title only. That will get you in the right direction. Also, since I'm a track kind of guy i say no spacers. Unless you add longer wheel studs and don't get too crazy with the spacer size. On my studs I can go up to about 3/4" strait up non-bolt-on spacer. With that said there are loads of paople using bolt o huge spacers w/ no problems. My question is, how hard do you drive? More bad news. Your spacer will most likely need to be hub and rim centric if you don't want the tire flying off. Our hub bore is 67.1mm and not sure about your rims. Anyway, goodluck and hope you got a heck of a deal on them. Edited March 13, 2009 by michael knight
Sully
I use spacers all around and they got abused regularly. The sort of conditions you'll probably never see driving on the street. Never had an issue. Checked the torque on the spacers once in a while but they were never loose.
D_Venable
yes a 35mm spacer on the back will fit just fine. I use to run a 25mm spacer on a 22mm rear wheel (-3mm offset), same 18x9.5, with a 265/35 tire. I now run a 33mm spacer on the same rim (-11mm offset). The 33mm spacer requires fender rolling, the 25mm ones make everything clear Here's a before (25mm) and after (33mm) http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/NewSpacer.jpg with the 35mm spacer on yours, you'll be fine, and they'll look good. Now for the front, try and find a 18x8.5, run a 245/35/18 on it, and look for a combined offset between 10-15mm, and it'll match the rear pretty well Derek
dem0ntsi
If you peruse any other RWD import forum i.e. 240s and 350Zs you will see that a majority of the cars run spacers. Even competition drift cars run spacers so you shouldnt be scared of them, just make sure you buy them with the hubcentric rings.
Sully
I didn't run hubcentric rings. Neither did Chad's IMSA car. Which is why I wasn't too worried about them. its good for piece of mind though.

I took a pic hard to tell exaclty how much it is on it but Its on it like white on rice! I all so did a search for spacers in a few places and coming up short on that.. alot of 4 lug stuff for some reason? So Now what to do??? Sorry bout being a Pain in the A$$ here guys but I guess going to need some more input? JustPaus_88TSi
I bought mine from http://www.wheeladapter.com/ If you want hub and rim bore centric spacers, you'll need to find out what the rim bore diameter is. The SQ hub diameter is 67.1mm
dem0ntsi
look on ebay for Mitsubishi spacers .. no need to get anything high end like Ichiba or Project kics when you are going to be running at least 25mm. a good pair with hubcentric rings should be like 60 bucks. Did you mount them on the front or the back? Edited March 17, 2009 by dem0ntsi
