It would be cool to offer those of us who have the first gen exhaust some kind of deal to have ours modded to fit tighter as they hang way too low.

The 1st gen and 2nd exhausts are completely different designs. The parts are none interchangeable from one to the other.
The costs of redoing the exhaust will be added to the New 2nd gen exhaust.
The price of the 2nd Gen will be $325 and $45 Packaging/shipping very soon. Get yours before that happens..
Thanks

Banky, if you have a welder and the access to a shop it's easy to modify. I cut the DP to test pipe flange completely off and welded those 2 pieces together. That is the only problematic area of Kelly's first design. He changed that on the second gen and that is impart the cause of it sitting higher up under the car. Granted I can raise mine another 1in or so under the car which I will be doing here shortly, as I'm getting ready for my coilovers to go on...

Hey Kelly,. give me length on your staright section to where it bolts up to your downpipe. I had to have mune re-welded for turbo. So they put a 3 bolt on the end of the dowpipe. For the staright section.

Just let me know where you measured it from,. so i can compare. And how much,. for NO downpipe, and i have the muffler section just no the bend from teh DP under the chunk to the muffler. Did you ever get that bracket for the Alt done? High amp one on your board? Sorry for the 50million q's.

Thanks
Dan

Pic's Up.
It's been raining here in SoCal for the last 2 days. I just went ahead and snapped some quick pictures. I have been driving around with this for a week now with no bottoming out or rattling.
Rocketman also drove in the car twice. Hope you like the new system as it is the only one available I sell. biggrin.gif
Thanks

The 1G exhaust can tuck up just as high as the 2g with a little work. I just recently took mine down to my buddies muffler shop to weld on my new Apex-i N1 muffler, and we got that exhaust stirdy and strong!! with out haveing to mod the hangers at all. it helps in hangeing the muffler so the fit is tight and snug! I have no problems at all with scrapeing, rubbing, or ratteling.

Keep up the good work KDM!! thanks again for makeing a great aftermarket exhaust! laugh.gif
