kev
they ain't kidding on the 2 yr thing, had my left hand done almost 1.5 yr ago ,hind sight if I could have gotten by with out it I would have , still hurts when I use it , my right hand i'l not do it , ain't worth the pain and weakened hand grip That is why I haven't had the surgery. I'm scared that it will make things worse. However if you let it go too far, it will be irreparable. I have carpal tunnel in both wrists and have had it since 1998. I learned to live with it. There are certain things I can't really do anymore as a result...or at least have to limit...but i guess that is life. When it flares up though, it hurts! You can't sleep at night, can barely function in life (can't write, use the keyboard, even hurts to hold a phone). Thankfully mine is fairly controllable...when it flares up, I can calm it down pretty quick with the CTS brace, anti-inflamatory supplements, fish oil, etc. From what I heard, the cubital tunnel syndrome is more painful than carpal tunnel. Rob, Good luck with your surgery. Wish you a speedy recovery so you can get to your pastimes Kevin
