Can you please explain what the benefit is for these pillow ball plates?

Read down in this thread a little. The pillow ball has no delfection like rubber but lets the pivot happen during suspension travel so the spring does not bind

They don't help camber, right?

They do if you have worn rubber upper mounts that collapse inwards. They are known for doing so. Also these can be made adjustable easily and make the camber stay where you put it.

They take the torsioning stress off the strut rod. The rod can move freely with the suspension rather than having torsional force put on it. When the strut rod can't pivot a little itcan cause the strut nut to come loose and unwanted wear on the camber plate.

These are adjustable and a very nice setup. I am having a hard time holding back on these right now.
