I got this a few months ago, but I finally got around to cleaning it up and getting some decent photos this weekend. Beleive it or not, sunny days are hard to come by this time of year in the Pacific Northwest.. lol

I really had my heart set on a WRX, but I couldnt find one that wasnt beat to death for what I felt was a reasonable price. Then, this thing sorta fell into my lap..

Its an 05 Subaru Legacy GT. 2.5 liter turbo, 5 speed. I absolutely love it! I found it back home, and the price was too good to pass up :). I drove it from Virginia to Washington a few weeks ago. She is an excellent highway cruiser! Cruising at 90-100 MPH feels like cruising at 70 in my honda.. haha

The only mods Ive done are a catless uppipe, turbo back exhaust, and a Cobb Accessport. Its amazing how much those few mods opened it up. According to the Cobb website, this puts me at around 300 HP and I think a bit over 300 lb feet of torque :)

Oh, and the color? Atlantic Blue Pearl  I dont plan on any other mods for the near future, unless something breaks/ needs repair.

Thanks guys! Yeah I guess now it is basically an STi that has a little bit of class and refinement.. but its perfect for me. Ive been in my buddies STi a few times. Man, its a sick sick car. But I think I like the legacy better for long road trips. Although, he did and intake, exhaust, and accessport on his car, and I swear that thing pulls just as hard in 4th gear as it does in second.. haha

Perry, thats a sweet ride! Ill bet hers is faster than mine, probably weighs less haha. Have you found the parts to be pretty expensive? I was really impressed by the fit and finish of my cobb exhaust, but you sure do pay for that quality.

I guess I kinda fibbed on the modding thing, I do plan on getting an intake sometime in the next few weeks. Ill have to get up a sound clip of the exhaust on this, its just perfect. Not too loud at cruise or if your puttering around, but if you step on it, she turns some heads :)

Yeah, you pay out of the nose for Subie stuff.

I hardly ever get to drive it.

BTW they do great in the snow as long as its not pushing it...

Lol. I gues the conquest is your toy and the Subie is her toy?

I ran into a little snow/ freezing rain on the cross-country trip. but not enough to be an issue.
