Ok so Ive looked all the way through all the 2jz posts but I still have questions un answered. Hopefully you guys can help.

Is it easy too keep a/c?

Recommendations on where I should get engine and tranny from?

What about mpg?

Twin vs single turbo?

With twin could I have one small and one big?

What about braking systems?

That's is for right now I will ask more of some pop up.

Thanks guys.

i wouldnt reccomend swapping any engines until you own a car and are VERY familiar with it.

most young guys come in here wanting to swap engines and NEVER even get halfway along.

I know you think you know about cars, belive me i did too. But i didnt know CRAP until i finished my first car. There is a LOT you have to learn and honestly you arent ready for a swap. Especially a non OEM swap.

A solid percentage of engine swap cars on this site end up being parted out or crushed due to lack of knowledge, running out of funds, or loss of interest. Its a pity.

my advice is to get one, and drive it. fix the minor issues. familiarize yourself and in a few years if you still want to swap away then do it.

i restored my first car. and had another motor lined up ready to go in it, but honestly i fell in love with the reliability of an all stock system. I drive my car everyday and it never lets me down. I do want more power, so i bought a second one and im swapping an LS1 into it at the moment (see the 88 build thread).

Im very happy with the way ive done it. I have a beautiful and reliable car, and ill never be out of driving one while i swap the other.

First, you need to settle the flock down. Just get a car first, BUT: Think about whether it will be a fun car to drift and that you won't care about if it crashes, or if it will be a car that is going to be protected, waxed daily, only taken out once in a while, etc. Decide what the main purpose of the car will be, then seek out a car that is either ratty, or super clean, respectively.

I can't answer most of your other questions, but its easy to mod supra motors. Single turbos are easy to do. MPG will be in the low to mid 20s. Stock brakes are decent, and there are upgrades.
