2JZ-GTE (Aristo) Harness Diagram

The harness I have came from a swapped 240 and many of the wires have been modified (not to mention it had a couple piggybacks already installed) and I want to start from scratch and make sure all connections are soldered and done right. I have an ECU pinout but could really use an actual wiring diagram with wire colors to get this thing straight again. Anyone find a good one.....been spending time on Supraforums but they seem more concerned with the connections they make instead of actual factory wiring harnesses. The guy removed several wires that I might need to add back too :(

The first 2 are pinouts like I have already....but the third one does have some interesting info towards the end. All the first stuff appears to be MK3 Supra connections but the last page or 2 does at least have wire colors on the 2JZ-GTE harness. Thanks (and any others are welcomed :) )

And it seems the MK3 guys want to hook EVERYTHING back up so the car is literally like it came from the factory with a 2JZ.....not the case in a SQ swap becuase we don't have all that stuff to start with. Maybe Serpent or Vette will chime in here with the connections they had to make (fingers crossed).

Bare minimum I know I have to power/ground:

- ECU

- Ignitor

- Injectors

- Idle Valve

- O2 Sensor (heated factory sensor)

And connections for fuel pump, alternator, and starter circuit must be spliced.

Good luck. The people that know this information guard it like it is big pile of leprechaun gold. If you ask on a supra/jz forum the standard reply is "Pay so-so to do it." The fact still remains that "so-so" charges 4-500 bucks to move a few wires around.

I even drew them a picture and they wouldn't help.

I may have what you are looking for but it's on my work computer and I won't be back til Friday.

basically i followed Serpent and Lad. About five things you need to connect to get it going and they are all on the E10 plug that is missing off the harnes when you get a swap I have the paper where i wrote down what goes where at home.

the danger part is the fuel delivery. As Professor Quest and he will tell you that a toggle switch outside on the black/white wire that checks the fuel pump on the passenger fender wall is the way to go. it bypasses the safety silenoid so in an accident the pump will be still on until somebody flicks the switch. Or you ground the wire from the relay itslef so that when the ecu gets juice from the ign the pump comes on.

all my power leads are fused but since im moving the batt to the back i havent checked the set up yet anyway still waiting for a bell lol

hope that helps.

  • 2 years later...

I've got the USDM printout. May or may not help.

Lemme know if you can't see it, I'll repost it in a larger resolution.

I know this is old but the thread u started on supra forums contained a ton a great information. The drawing was especially helpful. I am in the middle of doing the swap (my first swap) and I'm attempting it completely on my own. The wiring had me a bit baffled so any info I can find is extremely helpful. Thanks
