sorry about my late reply Ron, I been doing a lot of R&D lately

I have about 10 wideblock R 154's in service right now, and I have one on hand

they run $425.00 and include the slave cylinder, front plate. throw out bearing and throw out bearing coller, they are a direct bolt up that use the original pilot bearing with a Toyota Supra disc

Ok the engine i have is out of my conquest. Idk to much about this kinda stuff so I'm still learning I have the r154. And the original conquest engine. With your setup what starter, and clutch and flywheel will I need? I won't have the money for alittle while but I got plenty of stuff to do in the mean time. I'm going to put the car back together from where the po tore the engine bay apart.

Ok and how would I do the drive shaft? Will the stock yoke fit the r154 or will I have to get a 154 yoke and swap it onto the stock driveshaft I've never done a cross platform trans swap so Idk anything about mixing driveshafts.

try to get the yoke with the trans and have a shaft built

right now, the only option I know of is for powertrain industries in California

part # 1303-23

23spline 1.200 inner diameter 6.125length 1.575 outer (seal) diameter Toyota Car

power train industries

garden Grove, calif

1-800-798-4585

$107.89

the reason this yoke is a good option is because it uses a 1330 U-joint or equivilant to a 3/4 ton truck U joint

I would love to find a 1350 ( one ton) U-jiont to finish out this swap

no you have to supply your own r154 trans. the 425 is for his kit. new bellhousing, slave cylinder, front plate. throw out bearing and throw out bearing coller.

you still have to get the conquest manual starter, flywheel and pressure plate with a 7m-turbo r154 clutch, and you would also need the driveshaft stated above by bill.

this is what i was going to use but i picked up a stock 5speed for cheap so it saved me some money. unless you are putting down 350-400+ hp to the wheels you wont need the r154 this is a pretty expensive way to go. i already had the trans from when i was going to try the 2jz swap but money didnt last long enough so i pulled the plug on that and went with the g54b again and a stock 5 speed. the conversion is pretty easy from what i hear ive just finished ordering most of my parts to do the manual swap with. i just need a few other parts and ill be ready!

What hp range is the r154 good up too and hows the cruising rpm in final gear compared to our stock 5 speed?

I feel like my 5speed has too much vibration after about 80mph and I'm pushing about 350horses

Sorry to thread jack, but this mod looks like something I need soon. Also how does the r154 compare to a t56 swap?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I was curious about top speed in 5th gear, so I did all the gears for the KM132 and just 5th for the R154. Maybe this has been done before, but for me, reving to 6500rpm, this is the max speed per gear. This is with a 245/45 16" tire with a diameter of 24.681" and the stock 3.54:1 rear diff.

KM132

gear. top speed @ 6500rpm

1. 40.020 mph

2. 66.251 mph

3. 99.134 mph

4. 134.819 mph

5. 154.236 mph

R154

gear. top speed @ 6500rpm

5. 168.123 mph
