If there is enough interest in motor mounts when I get my car back from the paint shop I will pull my mounts off and make a few set with my engine in the car. If I try to make them with out the engine there is no guarantee they will turn out straight or centered.

Are you using solid mounts or adapting the OEM 2.6L mounts?

The motor runs so smooth there is not really any vibration when driving. I think it feels like stock.
Serpent did modify his stocks mounts. I did not make his for him.

What intercooler did you use?

I notice in one of your pictures you still had the Cruise Control cable and canister attached.  Did you find a way to use it or just hadn't gotten it removed at that point?

The cruise was still there in the pic but i did take it out. The intercooler is a cx racing but its a little to small so im redoing it.

Nice looking swap!  I can't wait to see the finished project.
What are you using for gauges?  I take it the factory gauges cannot be converted for use with the 2JZ?

A couple of questions as I am SLOWLY moving along on my 2JZ swap.

1. What motor mounts are you guys using?  Serpent... do you have pictures?  You're doing multiple swaps so you must have the motor mount thing down.  I thought you said you were modifying the OEM Quest stuff?

2. Has anyone found a way to keep the Cruise Control?  My schematics here indicate it uses the ECM as part of the CC system.

3. Anyone keeping their A/C?
with where they have to put the radiator i dont think it would be possible to keep A/C

Mad-Dax managed to keep his A/C.  So I am going to try and do the same.  Living in AZ these cars are just too warm (air flow inside) to not have A/C.

Well I had to do some major innovating to get an a/c  not the stock stuff...used a Mazda Millenia condenser and custom made my own hoses and hard pipes..I spent about $200 in parts then bent/fabbed/tweaked/shaved/welded/and some more things toget the a/c going.  But the freon leaked out after two weeks....it was the end of the summer by then anyways.  So yes a/c can be had and everything really looks stock in there.

If you can't find someone up there to weld them just mark where they need to be welded and pay shipping here and back and I will weld them for you.
