pagemo
Since the car is basically complete i thought it time to add to the show room. The car was a 2 year resoration i picked up as a roller but in fair condition. I decided to paint the engine bay and just make a driver out of it but that snowballed into a what you see below. http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg1/pagemo/yellow%20quest/IMG00180-20100516-1834.jpghttp://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg1/pagemo/yellow%20quest/IMG00155-20100430-2017.jpghttp://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg1/pagemo/yellow%20quest/IMG00156-20100430-2017.jpghttp://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg1/pagemo/yellow%20quest/IMG00197-20100516-1838.jpghttp://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg1/pagemo/yellow%20quest/IMG00194-20100516-1837.jpghttp://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg1/pagemo/yellow%20quest/IMG00196-20100516-1838.jpgWhile posting these i just relized i have no recent engine bay pictures so i guess ill add them later. jonboyb
I'll be dragging Scott along for PF if it kills him...LOL. His pics are bad too.....whole different animal in person. We actually did some interstate pulls over the weekend (him vs. my turbo HHR) and it looks freakin' sweet charging down the tarmac too. jonboyb
It's a Bullseye T04B P-trim made for a 4G63 but modded to fit a South FLorida header. Spools like a 12a......with serious guts. I don't have a copy of his dyno, but when he let off at 6200 the hp curve was still rising linearly....but he runs a very aggressive custom spec'd Schneider cam. Starwolf
How much power did he make? What a beautiful car...
jonboyb
Scott and I talked about that today. His highest dyno was never printed and we THINK it was 378 RWHP at 18 psi on pump. He had inadvertantly mis-torqued the head studs (ARP's with 30w oil but only moly torque specs) and the head lifted allowing the Titan HG to stretch and blow. The last dyno we did went down and I think it was posted on here as 350. Since then he added custom Ross 8.2:1 pistons and had alot of head porting/oringing done when I had the machine shop still. 21 psi is the daily level now....and the car is notably stronger. I think I talked him into some race fuel and 30 psi tonight so hopefully we'll spin it up again in a few weeks. With the Crower rods and Ross pistons.....should be a walk in the park for the block.
