bha280
where did y'all run the vac line frome the TB to the gauge through the fire wall? Do I need to drill or is there an easy spot to run it through? I have the cluster out and tried to run it through the panel behind the brake booster thinking that was an easy in, but no. dmyers151
Oh, sorry, I misread. I think you can run it in where the cruise control cable goes, it's down near the gas pedal. I had my fenders off when I was running mine, so it goes into a hole I made in the boxed upper frame right next to the clutch fluid reservoir and into the cabin in the door jam area. jisleyjr
I ran mine through a hole that a wiring harness is using. Move the brake fluid reserve out of the way, poke a coat hanger through from inside the car to the engine bay beside this harness, tape on the plastic vac hose to the coat hanger, if the brake fluid reserve is moved you should have no problems reaching it, and pull it back into the cab. nickireson
i found a great spot just a few days ago. on the passenger side of the firewall almost right in the back left corner. there are a couple of wires coming through. gotta use a fiberglass rod or something (i used the tip of an old fishing pole) it comes out behind the glove box (duhh) just remember to always run an extra wire or peice of string, so you can fish other stuff through that you forgot. freetoskate124
There's a rubber boot-looking thing that I poked a small hole in with a nail and ran copper tubing through. It's relatively close to where the heater core is on the other side of the firewall and I didn't have to use an ungodly length of tubing.
