BlowinUp54B's
It was awesome, even though I sucked pretty bad I ended up doing a 360 the first time I tried to drift. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoid=55831180 Some of it, I will post up more as I get them uploaded.. I also burned my tires off at the end.. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoid=55831375 Edited April 15, 2009 by BlowinUp54B's

Komeuppance
Why'd you stop?? Needs some suspension upgrades!! Cosmo coilovers FTW... with a stiffer suspension you'll have more feel of the car. Car looks good though!! -Robert
19cturbo
didnt you just get that motor back together?
Fanta
LOL I love that 360 - reminds me of some of the first times I tried drifting mine god you're drifting reminds me of a drunken Godzilla on a rampage in Tokyo You need stiffer suspension for one - it'll make breaking loose easier and more predictable Download and watch The Drift Bible. It might sound kind of ricer like, but it definitely helps to know what to look for and get an idea of what to feel for. Also, check out SEDA ( SouthEast Drift Association ) http://www.southeastdrift.com/

BlowinUp54B's
Man up and shift to second..... or even 3rd. Yeah, I was going to do a 3rd gear.. but I didn't really want too shift because my tranny is going bad + my clutch slips really bad sometimes when I shift to third. BlowinUp54B's
I have drifted on the roads a few times, but out with no curbs/trees/houses. We have a track for it in Huntsvegas so I'd rather do it legal..
BrazilBoy
Greg you should get those Eibachs that will help quite a bit...Better than my first time drifting I killed a whole row of cones...you just nailed one...

We have a track for it in Huntsvegas so I'd rather do it legal.. I tried it a couple times in the middle of nowhere...then...one time it got away from me, and almost put me in the trees...would've if Id a hit the brakes, but, Instead...I floored it, pulling me out of the dirt slide and back up onto the pavement. Needless to say...I never tried it again At least not in second gear....too squirley.
Convette
lol. If your really going to be serious about it, your going to need something way stiffer then eibach springs. Coilovers are a must.

Sully
Cosmo... I don't know if mookeeh still hase his kit. http://www.cosmoracing.com/productinfo.asp...67&pid=1239 If I were you, I'd see if I could get 10k and 8k springs. I think mookeeh had this option

Convette
yeah spring rates are important. My friend runs 1000lb/in springs in the front of his 5.0 Mustang for drifting (close to the same weight as a Starion). He says its like a go cart with no suspension...lol

Do they make different setups or wha? I'm dumb about suspension stuff..
Convette
You'd have to call them and ask, like Sully said, try to get 10ks if you can. I assume you still drive your car on the street? If so you want to keep it somewhat reasonable.
