  1. Looking for exactly those two sets of items, specifically from a Widebody SQ. Also need a flywheel! Thanks!
  2. Almost finished with my G54B bottom end swap in the wagon .
  3. How to Tell the Difference Between the Branches of the US Armed Forces! If you give the command "SECURE THE BUILDING", here is what the different services would do: The NAVY would turn out the lights and lock the doors. The ARMY would surround the building with defensive fortifications, tanks and concertina wire. The MARINE CORPS would assault the building, using overlapping fields of fire from all appropriate points on the perimeter. The AIR FORCE would take out a three-year lease with an option to buy the building.
  4. I got out as a E4. Wish Navy had rank advancement like the Marines lol. Might have gotten somewhere in life and retards weren't completely in charge lol.
  5. Navy and still technically am for the next 3 years lol.
  6. Manual brakes and Steering are Win! The only difficult steering (at first) is a non-powered power rack . Takes some time getting used to and definitely deters anyone from trying to borrow your car. Leaky 4WS lines on GVR4? no problem! Delete my powersteering pump.
  7. Dude, I still got a half gallon of Apple Pie left and 1.5 gallons of jungle juice.
  8. Rofl. Anytime I see the word "Airforce" my brain automatically interprets it as Chairforce too. All the branches were ready to work together for a brewing beatdown lol. We all talk s*** about each branch, but it's all in good fun . Prior to deploying to Afghanistan, I went through 2 months of a crash course in being Army, a MP and basic combatant down at Fort Bliss...unfortunately Army M16 qualification does not transfer over to Navy qualification requirements lol. US Narmy Saildier! When Army Strong just isn't enough!
  9. Well that was the case on the amphibs lol, I was only on the flight deck of a Aircraft Carrier most of the time or my last Squadron I left, they don't deploy to ships. Just antiques from Vietnam, hunting submarines and drug runners lol.
  10. Better than Here in Joke Harbor though lol. Hasn't rained that much this year though! Going to be a hot Summer hopefully . To the OP, I'm about a hour and some change south of you. A buddy with a couple Colt Lancers lives up there, that I've been up there helping a bit to get ready for the Nameless Rally in a couple weeks. 4g54 Power!
  11. Lol MARINE = Men Always Riding In Navy Equipment Got out of the Navy in April, gotta love it when you pretty much get laid off by the Navy, but always a catch lol. Severance pay + obliserv 3 more years in IRR haha. Had a lot of fun from 2005-2013 as a Aircraft Mechanic. I've worked with Marines both aviation side and when I was in Afcrapistan doing Detainee Ops with mostly National Guard lol. These days no one is really recruiting much, best to wait for us to go to war again lol. My old roommate is a Navy recruiter, their quota is only 2-3 tops.
  12. Crankwalk isn't as infamously common as many think. Plenty of people have rolled over 200k+ on their stock 7 bolts (5spds). If you really wanted to, for the oil cooler, you can take the stock starion adapter and put it on the NA block, BAM you got yourself a Air cooled oil filter setup...
  13. Sorry for million year reply, but that is some misinformation right there. As per the Astron family of engines stateside, The 4g54 (not later 4g54b) came in a mix of wide and narrow block versions between the 70s to early 80s. All 4g52s are Narrow Blocks, this was a common motor in 74-79 Colts (base models with Auto, GT/Carousel models had the option for MT or AT), 76-80 Arrows 78-early 80s pickups with 2.0s before being phased out with the g63b. Late 70s Colts (lancers) and Arrows (Lancer Celeste) brought the introduction of the 4g54 in their GT Models and The Fire Arrow. Narrowblock RWD Manual trans found in colts, arrows and trucks KM110 = 4spd KM119 = early 5spd (70s) KM132 = 5spd Introduced into the Lancer based Colts and Arrows of the late 70s, as well as early pickups, share same tailshaft size (small yoke) as the earlier KM110/KM119. Astron 1 (4g54/4g52/4g52b) Heads have a different stud pattern on the intake side of the head, 4g52 was non-jet valve and dizzy mounts to timing case instead of in the head, 4g52b is jet valve and dizzy located in the head like a 4g54b (Astron 2). So, with all that, Narrowblock Engines have been around longer prior to 80s, all Saturn family (4g3x) are also narrowblocks. Which the 4g32 has been around since '71.
  14. Should have the '75 g54b swapped later this week or weekend.
